1st day of count is usually the day after the total funds hit hit the account. I'm assuming that the OP's 1st day of count excludes the day the total required funds hit the account. The day the total funds hit the account isn't always included in the count.

I think everybody is right concerning oanda currency conversion. The difference is this:

If u are paying tuition from Nigeria, that means the currency u have is Naira (up) and u are buying pounds which is the currency u want (down). Then,

For bank statement POF, the UKVI has pounds (up) and the currency equivalent it wants is Naira (down).

Note : that is why u pay more Naira for tuition fees deposit and less for POF (bank statement)

Yes you can. But make sure you have an updated cAS before you apply for your visa.

Guys, please help. Ecobank hasn’t debited me for school fees. I filled form A on Monday and my deadline is on Monday next week. Please what can i do? I have been calling the bank since Tuesday and nothing has been done. I have run out of ideas of what to do. Do schools really take deadlines seriously seeing I am paying school fees. The school resumes January 11. I can do online schooling pending i get my visa. Please help me. I’m thinking of just cancelling the whole thing.

You can print out on Monday and if you able to pay for you IHS and Visa fees on Monday you can walk in on Tuesday.

Write to your school and possibly show them your bank debit alert (mail if possible) and inform them about delay from bank. ( u can use shortage of forex as possibly reason for delay). If there is ever anything positive about this COVID, it is making rules a little lighter for everyone. So I believe your school will maybe consider your reasons. Copy your school international recruitment manager for the mail. Them de get as them take de assist international student this period for payment things.

UKVi says you need 20k pounds for you to show (the worth ) , what is that worth in naira, usd , cad to be in your bank. You dont get that rate by saying how much is naira to £ 20k. Exactly your bold. how much worth is 20k to the naira .

Now I no know weather na wrong calculation n I got the visa because of the extra 3k usd or even weather the whole money add and na only 50USD wey de on top be the extra money. I am sure you understand me.

The reason I mentioned it was because someone got refused based on insufficient funds( with that calculation) and I was only trying to avoid the same scenario. Next thing, you see attacks left and right.

I don’t need the conversion as I’m already in the Uk. Just helping the way I can.

I can’t remember if it was @lagosismyhome or @mimilyric that said one should add extra 50naira when calculating so that you end up having extra amount. At first I felt it was much, but when I realize say person no de understand exchange rate, I con use their advice. Las las na make we get visa matter.
