It was the party that went for election not the candidate(it is the name of the party that appeared on the ballot not name of candidate) ,it is court that will finally determine the true candidate ,INEC is simply acting according to the law.

APC has been rejected by the people of SE ... with whats going on in the country it makes it worse.... APc that finished forth in the elections and had their candidates forced on imolites.... it elections were free and fair today, APc will not get upto 2million votes nationwide

APC's strongest zone is still Imo West by far.

I think Imo North's closeness to Abia & Imo East , is the reason.

Obowo is not that big, Mbano is the biggest.

APC is strong in Imo west but strongest in Imo North because it is only in IMO north that APC can win all the LGA unlike in West. This is because all the notable leaders and who is who in Okigwe zone fraternize with APC unlike in west where some of the who is who are in PDP and others in APC.

Ya, Ikeduru but Not for long nah...just like Ihedioha now, no proper stay in the Office.

Have you seen Ivara's bio? Esu has held more than 5 political positions at Federal level and was a VC in the home Fed Univ.

Even though Placid was a former VC (not in Imo State), so that control isn't huge like Zanna or Esu.

He has been largely out of Politics, and has held strictly academic positions after then.

There must be a name of a person declared winner in the INEC Form EC 8E issued to the parties to the Election.

INEC cannot refuse to issue Form EC 8C to all the candidates who contested the election because APC did not put its House in order. If there is no candidate on the day of the election recognized by INEC, then they have no candidate

2 APC candidates gathered votes together and overpower one PDP candidate.
If it's only one APC candidate that contested , there is a tendency that the other faction of the other candidate will not vote or vote against .
