Our state has one of the most disconnect between realities on ground and what you read in the news.

We have a world class health facility, our elite still fly abroad, yet the poor cant afford,
We have a 5star hotel, politicians use it for free for their occasion, running the busines down.

The govt needs to try out things that directly affect the people, not things that make the state look good on paper while its hell to its people

The airline employes not up to 50 peoole, yet every year, it is budgeted for in the states budget, why is it not operating on its own...Why did they budget billions for it for the 2021 fiscal year?

1. Why plan a big burial for a late dad when the same family has many jobless people.
Why litter his burial with money when he never tasted wealth while alive.?

2. Why give birth to the number kids, you know you won't manage properly...?
Why have purposeless erections..?
Why recycle poverty...?
Even the United States President don't manufacture kids like African leaders do despite having a robust economy..

3. Why settle for someone that won't add value to your life in marriage..?

Even if the government doesn't provide jobs, you can position yourself to take advantage of opportunities staring at you.

The elite class needs some essential services....can you learn those skills.

Solar and inverter installation
Home automation with wifi setup.(put on and off lights and appliances with with a smartphone)
CCTV
Car tracking security
Electric Fence
Fire safety equipment
Etc.

What about skills like P.O.P.
Suspended ceilings
Floating tv stands
Etc etc

Trust me, people from outside the state are flocking in and providing these services.

Brilliant, thats another thing, during governo Udoms fathers burial, he brought in decorators from lagos to do the work.... Dafuk, does it mean in our whole state we dont have decorators?

Truth is, in the state there are people that have those skils, and are dying for work, but is it the gocernor that built the akwa ibom state house in lagos so as to go and rest frequently, that will come and be doing it?

The govt prefers to leave the people here, to source for thongs that can be done here with good expertise, to source for people abroad,

You are right, the same thing applies.
Why buy big airlines when your people can barely feed. Why not build an industrial park and fit it with machines and then train people as artisans to work and produce there, makinv money for themselves?

Why not build standard hospitals across the state that will be affordable to most, rather than build one that rarely gets to be used because the people you built it for cannot afford it?

Why build a 5star hotel in a state where 90% complain of having to pay 5-10k for an hotel?

Its the same thing, we do things that will make people see us as well to do, when rather the reality ob ground is abysmal. You build from the ground up, not from up to the ground

While the Udom administration do have some misplaced priorities, as for the Airlines it is a smart move. Accessing AkwaIbom is now less than 30 minutes from the two most important cities in Nigeria.

Sure, but most of the development you see was done by Godswill akpabio, Udom is yet to begin and complete a single project, and i am not overstating it,

Akpabio constructed all the roads you rode on, Udom began projects since his inception. He is yet to commision any, the state is a graveyard of uncompleted projects currently.

Akwa Ibom is really beautiful, very very, but its tge work of Godswill mostly, thats y he is still revered in the state
