Please don't change your age out of desperation. NYSC is not a do-or-die thing.

I think it depends on the actual year the person graduated and not how old the person is currently. if u graduated when u were 30 or above, u r exempted but if u graduated when u r below 30, even if u don't do it then, u will still be required to do it even if u reach 40 years

30 years. the 30 is from the date of graduation. not date of commencement of NYSC

@OP, the time of graduation would determine if you're going or not. If you finish before that MAY & you are listed in the Senate list, NYSC is sure.

There is this corper I met during orientation camp in Ikare akoko ondo state few yrs back He is like 45yrs old. I still don't know how he did till today

I don't know about his. All I know is that one can defer his/her mobilization. What matters is the age in the senate list,,,, at the time of graduation

I may not be right though

could be true,if you graduated within the age limit but didn't do it but decide to do after even thirty years you are qualified to be mobilised but if your age at the time of graduation is above the age limit then no need,just apply for exemption letter,you are too old for mobilisation
