That cream is laced with harsh chemicals like steroids and HQ. The green veins is as a result of clobetasol, a potent steroid. while the dark knucles is as a result of high % of HQ.

Hi wink
What about "looking good" the lotion. Does it contain these bad chemicals you listed up there sad

You probably got more than you bargained for. Of all the creams you could have used you chose a bleaching cream. Whip up a mixture of coconut oil with Shea butter to repair your damaged skin.

Just give it time you will come back.
That's why you shouldn't listen to all these people telling you you are getting dark and should start using a cream that will brighten your skin. Don't change soap of cream.any how.
I've use the same soap and cream since 2010. If I go 3months without cream you won't even notice. If I must use any other soap, it has to be very mild. I don't go near anything medicated.

Yes. Looking good contains HQ @ 2% which is the dose the FDA recommends for skincare. Anything higher than that is usually on prescription by a dermatologist and Should be used within a short period for treatments. That is what cosmetic companies are abusing and now using over 8 to 10% in regular skicare products which is damaging to the skin especially in climes like ours which is very hot causing a rebound darking of the skin and skin cancer after long term use.

Though at 2%, it's still not ideal to use long term.

It has the most pleasant smell ever but darkened my skin so stopped using it.

Leave them. I was just laughing when I saw the Palmer's cocoa butter. let them use her skin for trial and error.
People just recommending different things.

Skin success also contains HQ and its even worse cos it contains a lot of fruit acids which makes the skin highly susceptible to the sun threby causing sun burn and making the skin darker. It also causes rashes due to so many acids combined in one formula.

It's not meant for our weather.

VicThoria, know the type of skin you have . Using heavy oils like shea butter and coconut oil on an oily skin at this stage will only burden your skin pores and trap dead skin cells thereby making you shades darker. Know that at this time your skin is at a delicate stage, going natural is the way but you must know exactly how to ,lest you over work your skin.

What you need now is pore healing and exfoliating. If you have access to natural aleovera , blend the juice and apply to the all over your skin before going to bed. Then try black soap for exfoliating, check for the ones that has tee tree oil or salicylic acid in it.

Jesus Christ!
Did she tell you she's suffering from acne? What's with the BHA and tea-tree oil?

Ok.

Eyyah. A friend that visited me couldn't stop opening and smelling it grin. He told me someone can eat it thinking is butter.

Back in undergrad days, my neighbor bought it but she got darker within a month.

Got it!

was just kidding though but you're not different from Google and other search engine sha

if you have malaria and go search for symptoms on Google, believe me the result will make you think you have HIV/AIDS or Corona Virus

my advice to people when they feel sick and need symptoms to diagnose themselves they should never try Using google or other search engine cuz it will complicate their problem

Hi everyone .
Please i need help oo, i'm chocolate in complexion. I've been using bronztone cream for some months, i was on the second lotion when i started noticing dark knuckles, green veins, sun burn and I started getting too fair

So i stopped it some weeks ago and i haven't been applying anything on my body

I dont want to use any cream again for now. do i need to use anything to get back my natural chocolate color back? or it will come back with time?

This worked for my cousins. I recommended it to her. She was happy.

Stop use of any cream at least this December. if you have access to this two fruit use it: lemon or aloe Vera fresh from plant. Apply it twice daily on your skin. In 14 days, you will feel changes.

secondly, you can use pretty cowry vitamin c serum. This works magic in skin in less than 7 days. Though it is costly, #6500 but it worth it

you can call me if you need it

You should shout Buddah and Allah as well , how about shango and oronmila? Left those gods out too? undecided

So maybe you should tell me who told you tree tree is meant only for acne.

And you don't need to have a degree to know that due to the harsh chemicals she used previously, when trying to repair ,there will be dead skin cells that need exfoliating.

Sometimes it's not always black and white ,there is pepper red and navy green too .

Palmer's COCOA BUTTER LOTION will only Darken you if that's your original colour.
Errm not necessarily true. Skin texture and moisture differ, also routine matters alot.

I hear you.

You're recommending a chemical exfoliant for Someone who's skin is already sore and raw from using harsh chemicals? And tea tree for what exactly? When there are other more calming and soothing essential oils like geranium and rosehip EOs that can rejuvenate and repair the skin without irritating it further.

Whatever happened to mechanical exfoliants. Like scrbs and brushes.

Anyways, to each his own.

You should rather recommend the soaps she can find them, I mean the geranium if you know ,oh my bad ,I doubt that. There is a reason it's a wash off saop I asked her to get not cream.I see you are the madam know it all grin.lol

Talking about rejuvenation, what do you think the aloe vera i told her to use does?

Scrubs and brushes, like seriously? grin. I think you had enough space to show off in your first comment, don't you think so? undecided.

It's not about showing off dear. It's what I do for a living. And it makes me cringe to see all that you listed up there cos they are no no for this skin ish. Imagin BHA on a sunburned face.. ouch...

When I say scrubs and bushes, I don't mean abrasive scrubs or your regular hard brush used for boys hair but very soft and tissue like bristtled brush specifically made for the skin. You might want to look that up.

Geranium is not a soap but an EO.

Tkia. cool

And you missed the part where I said ,I recommended she looks for that because it's a wash off and not a stay on. For someone who does this for a living I am sure it shouldn't be hard for you to understand the difference between a wash off and stay on.

I am surprised you were not ready to offer solution to the op in your first comment if it's what you do for a living? Oh I forgot, you just couldn't resist the urge to let us know you know grin grin. Seems this is a hobby to you, "oh look at me ,I know so much ,but I won't tell you" yen yen yen grin

Now this is not about you ,it's about the op, since you know so much ,you either profer a solution for the op or shut up or take up another space outside my mention to continue your attention seeking.

No need to get worked up dear. If you wanna know, you can go and enroll in a skincare academy or school of cosmetology.its that simple

And it's called, "rinse off" and "leave in" cool. Not "wash off" or stay on" tongue

That's what I use oo.
Though it's not bleaching my skin or something like that, but I observed some changes which I didn't like on my skin when I stopped using it for a while. When I returned back to it, the changes on my skin went away after a while.
I have a very lovely skin color(I am proud) naturally and I hate anything bleaching but I don't know the cream that I can use that will only bring out my color and not change anything on my skin at all.
Can you recommend any that is not so expensive oo because that is not my priority as a guy.
