Nov 5th applicant, just received NSE letter this morning.

Good morning gurus, my bank (first bank) is not on the mybankstatement platform hence I intend to go to the bank and ask them to courier my bank statement directly to Canadian embassy in Lagos. Am I on the right track?

Also I am hearing that no computer based ielts exam anywhere for now, how true is this?

Awaiting your helpful responses

Madam please go for a PGD/PGC, @Lekiboboe has provided a link to some courses.
Additionally, your profile is already already tricky enough but i am convinced you can write a solid SOP just as you said. Considering your age i can infer that none of your kids are toddlers, stating that you want them to come with you is a big sign to the visa officer that you plan on migration rather than studies .
Testimonytime:
Pls I will like to check out out my chances before going on with my application for study permit.

I am a 40+ year old law graduate. I graduated since 2002, and practiced law from 2006 till 2017, I even registered a law firm in 2015.
I resigned from my law practice and got job in a restaurant in 2018, this was because iv been doing catering business alongside my law practice as a matter of passion, I had several local certificates of training. I left my law practice and joined a cooking outfit with the plan of having mine in the nearest future, within this two years of intense cooking business, iv had several online international classes including a professional cook certified course which I did for 6 months, I recently registered a restaurant / catering outfit though I have not started operating this cos I’m still working at the restaurant. I need to upgrade to an international chef hopefully, Iv decided to school in Canada for several reasons not limited to relocating. My fear is I couldn’t get to do a Pgd but a college diploma since it’s entirely different from my degree. My husband will be my co sponsor, I will want to apply with my children but not with hubby. Will gap study / age/ college not limit my chances?

My claim may sound ridiculous, but I can indeed defend both old and new career, with pay slips, salary payment etc. I feel I have a very strong and convincing SOP. I have admissions at 2 colleges already. Getting a year mybankstatement with requisite balance will also not be an issue.

Pls gurus should advice plssss

yes you can, it will be processed through the normal study permit route I suppose

If am going through NSE, would I attached my bank statement login details with it, or wait for the request letter?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by sleekcheek: 7:16am On Dec 08, 2020
I applied online so it was the soft copy bank statement not paper that I submitted previously

Wait for the request letter first if they ask for it cuz I don't think it's every one that's being requested for but when they request for it all the details about the process of sending it and the guidelines is written in the letter

Please guys, does anyone know of a convenient way of getting the best forex rates to pay tuition? Western Union is pretty high, and Schools these days don't give out banking details to enable using CBN Form A.

Thanks

Hello guys. Please your help is needed.

Can someone who was denied entry into the US (tourist visa)at the POE 3 years ago (with a 5 years ban) apply for a study permit in Canada?

P.S passport was seized,so application will be on a new passport (with old passport number on it)
There's a possibility of getting approved but note that your application will be highly scrutinized due to immigration history with the US. However, I'll advise that the person wait out the 5 years and in that period, maintain solid home ties to home country and visit other visa required countries to reduce the image of 'desperation'. Ire o!

You can also include the mybankstatement when submitting your application and the IELTS test result. Your application will automatically be processed with the NSE. If you submit the MBS and don’t submit the IELTS result, they will only ask for the IELTS to process your application with the NSE route

I know it's tough being denied with all the efforts and time invested.

I'd recommend you take your time and see what the real reason for denial is. Oftentimes, it might be trivia issue. You can order for your GCMS notes using www.canadagcmsnote.com. That way, you know things thatat they are having issues with.

Also, after ordering the GCMS notes, take a bit time off and ensure your condition has really improved before applying again.

No, it’s not too early considering the fact that you will have to quarantine for 14days. That means you will be out by Jan 4 which is two weeks to the start of your program.

Omo yesterday i did my Listening, Reading, Writing computer based and Speaking for IELTS. My head BLOW! But it went well. My result will be out next week Monday or Tuesday.

I want to ask, if one scores 6.0 in all modules except reading scores like 5.0. Can one still upload it on the NSE application? Even if the person didn’t meet up and taking their chances

Please the consent form you submitted after you got the mail, is it the same consent form you submitted when transmitting the passport or the courier and SMS request form?

I have been asking this for three days now and no one is answering. Please help a brother out.

Good morning Honorables,

I just called Lagos VFS now (a lady picked) to ask how far about my Passport which I sent on Nov 5

She asked for my TRACKING ID , she confirmed and said "it's yet to be dispatched by IRCC, that IRCC dispatch Passports back to Lagos VFS in BULK"

She said my passport would get to Lagos VFS this week, then hopefully next week it would be ready for Pick up

I asked her why are people who Submitted their passports later than others are getting their passports back

She said,
"IRCC are not treating passports sequentially i.e someone who Submitted his/her passport on Nov 10 can get his/her passport back before someone who Submitted on November 1"

So her response corroborate this statement IRCC dispatch Passports back to Lagos VFS in BULK

Well, the calls would continue to persist, cos am sure IRCC will keep receiving passports almost everyday

Yeah, it was nice I thank God. The POE is no problem if you posses your ArriveCan receipt, letter of introduction, a form will also be given to you on the plane make sure is duly and honestly filled cause they won't attend to you if you don't fill it before approaching them and don't forget to include payment receipt or print out of the tuition fee you paid because they might require it in POE. Be ready also to answer some questions depending on the officer that attend to you. My own wan resemble interview

Thank you so much for your information. It's really helpful. I have a friend whose school issue enrolment verification letter between 3 to 5 days and his flight is tomorrow. He has his Letter of Acceptance from the school but yet to get the enrolment verification letter. A mail has been sent to the school to request for the letter. In a situation where the letter does not come before boarding his flight, can he present the acceptance letter as a proof of enrolment?

Friends in the house, please your advice is needed.
