For those that are not aware maintenance is now £1,023 monthly. Meaning £9,207 is what you have to show if schooling outside London for applications submitted after 1st of December. Saw it on my CAS, so thought to share for those not aware.

£624 per year for all other visa and immigration applications, for example £3,120 for a 5-year visa


Does this mean my what I'm to pay for a 2 years master's is 940 pounds or 1175 pounds (940 + 235) for the extra months on my visa

The applicant is a recent graduate 2019 and Covid delayed Convocation hence certificate not yet ready...

Or is the original degree certificate a must?

Guys, if there’s anyone here that studied Biochemistry, microbiology or any biological science related courses and looking at coming to the UK to further their studies, I’d advise they complete a topup module to upgrade their BSc to uk standard. Do a 5 weeks additional training and start applying for jobs. I think it’s quicker and cheaper than the MSc route in the long run.

No, just print account statement, send to to the school and once ur CAS is issued, let's say four days...that same SOA is what u use in applying for visa as long as the date you printed the statement to the day u submit ur visa application is less than 31days

Thank you so much for this information. I wanted to go for Canada but it seems most schools there have their minimum requirements set at (2.1). So UK would be a better option for me
