Lol, there’s no need blaming any player, this is entirely the manager’s fault. (It's easy to call out Maguire et al but the manager’s failure to sub out Fred in the PSG game has played a role in this loss, also inability to beat Istanbul in the 1st leg)

For the past 3 games or so, United have been dropping stinkers but through a stint of luck find a way to win the game (same issue I had with Mou’s United before the disastrous results began to rain). Giving them this false sense of “Comeback Kings” “Unbeaten Devils” and whatnot. Truth is, that is not how football is played.

During the PSG game, from a neutral perspective, it was clear that the team doesn’t deserve Champions League football.

And to be frank, United makes so much unnecessary noise on social media. Even as a United fan, it’s nauseating, had to unfollow their Twitter account. They win 3 - 4 matches in a row and start disturbing the whole media space like they won the World Cup. It’s akin to England’s run to the WC semis despite meeting bums along the way, only to collapse at the first challenge of a worthy opponent.

Hope they learn from this and come back stronger. The UEL though disappointing, is not the end of the world.
