I'd like to renew my passport at Ikoyi.
I have been able to gather some necessary information here on payment, who to ask for at Sevicom, NIN etc.
I just like someone to help me with the complete list of documents I'll be needing for passport renewal

Good day everyone. Please I did a DIY new passport application in Ibadan NIS. I did capturing on Thursday. My collection date is today. I just called the servicom number and the officer today that there is scarcity of booklet Nationwide. Please, has anybody applied and collected his/her passport recently? How long did it take u to collect ur passport after capturing? Thanks.

I sent a tweet yesterday @nigimmigration to confirm status of my passport renewal and I was told to pick it today which I just did. Collection was seamless less than 5 minutes. DIY all the way @ Festac passport office. Total cost N17800. Thanks all for the info!

Go the DIY route, just ask of servicom's office. Its cheaper.

I would advise you wait atleast for 4 weeks.

I didn't receive any text or email but i was able to get the number of an officer in servicom whom i called to help me check if it was ready.

My international passport done and dusted.

My passport was done in festac town. I went there on October 19 a day before the #lekkimassacre, and I was lucky enough to do my capture on the day thanks to the help of the assistant comptroller of the place who I went to meet when I'm the only one left. I went to meet him and he took me in for capturing. The man is a great and good man. I can never forget him.

I think that's mainly for easy identification in case it gets loose. Just write the name of your guarantor on it & use stapler to crucify it well where necessary

I am so grateful for your assistance.
Pls how about where you have thumb print on the form,can the signature serve in place of it?(see pix attached)

Finally in the area of particulars of Asset can someone put none where you have houses and other assets?

Kindly let me share this! I was able to get my passport at festac office few days ago. Though I experienced delay during capturing but one of the servicom officials assisted. On the day of collection I was told "Record not Found" which made me wonder after weeks to pick passport, I was told this. I was furious and felt frustrated, but some of the officials (Andy Uzo and Mrs Enwerem) took it up to assure me it would be sorted cos I submitted all necessary docs. Also, I was invited by the PCO a lovely woman as well who assured me I would get it that same day and that she encourages DIY. Please all help me tag NIS twitter and commend Officer Andy for his exceptional service that day. I got the passport within 15 mins after. Though he had his other official assignments, but he took up the case.

Thanks i eventually made payment online, I've printed the payment slip, acknowledgement slip and the Guarantor's form. I've seen my scheduled interview date. But the details required for a guarantor to provide is just too much. I hope someone will be willing to give out such. Can my dad be my Guarantor? Do i really have to go to court please?
U have to go to court for it to be stamped by Commissioner of Oaths. Stamp is 500 naira official price dnt allow them deceive you.

Stop calling them up and down before they hide ur ppt and be looking for bribe. U have a collection slip with a date on it. Either u go down there on the day they stated or you send a tweet to the NIS handle on twitter with ur details, they will check and tell you.
