Did your jubril Al Sudan start the project?

If only the work continued as how serious it was in 2014 before 2015 election lost which caused the stop of the project for almost two years,by now the project would have been a done deal.

GEj failed us by not starting the project on time, but who knows if there would have be something like second niger bridge if he didn't start it.

No be waitin i read for paper na waitin i see for project at my backyard.
Can you show us where GEJ started the project in 2014?

Obviously the gratitude for the continuation of this project after 2015 should go to America.

The highly nepotic despot would NEVER have funded a bridge in an area of Nigeria he openly professed so much hatred for "not voting for him"

Meanwhile, the other infrastructural projects (Expressways) built in the north and west with the $311 million dollars Abacha's loot will not be tolled. But this bridge built between the East and Midwest will be tolled. Go Figure!

I almost agreed with you but it’s more about the OP asking for God to bless Buhari. It’s quite insulting to openly celebrate such a person in light of all that we have seen in the past 1000 or so hours alone, let alone his entire regime. sad

God bless Buhari. Go to hell

No true Flattino will use a bridge constructed by a Fulani herdsman. A true Flattino will rather swim across the River Niger than use a bridge constructed by his enemy. God no go shame us ooo

Thanks you for enlightening those fools. I still remember when the bridge was inaugurated by GEJ, 30 billion naira (SURE P) counterpart funding was paid the government to yhe concessionaire. Julius Berger began erecting beams and land clearing. No doubt, Buhari was fortunate that part of Abacha loot was returned during his administration to be able to continue the project under the strict vigilance of the US and Swiss that returned the funds. They're making sure that money is being put to use to complete three projects, Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Second Niger Bridge and one road in the north like that. They don't trust the Buhari, left to him, he'll take the money and share it among his fellow almajiri in North, like he did when the first tranche was returned.
US and other agency directly credited the account of the NSIA, the agency that's overseeing those projects and believe me when you this, they are being briefed in real time about the progress of the projects

Well, there is visible progress, but what we are seeing is still less than 30% completion. First it is just one lane of the dual carriage way that has been done up to halfway point, but at least, the underwater jobs is already complete. One other thing i want to ask, how will this let Onitsha port function? this bridge is too low to support anything ship going underneath it

He said: “The second bridge is being realised under the PPP model. The special purpose vehicle will be jointly owned by Julius Berger-Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority Consortium and Federal Government. And as obtainable under the PPP model, the concessionaire will have the right to charge tolls for the use of the second Niger Bridge as well as have full commercial rights on the Projects Right of Way.”

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum and Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji, described the flag-off of the construction of the 2nd Niger Bridge as the flag off of the process of retaining President Goodluck Jonathan in office in 2015

We’ve spent N10bn on 2nd Niger Bridge so far — Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan said the Federal Government has spent N10 billion on construction of the 2nd Niger Bridge out of the N130 billion total cost of the project.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-east/175127-weve-spent-n10bn-2nd-niger-bridge-far-jonathan.html

Stop lying on behalf of Jona because according to Jona himself, he only paid N10 billion out of N130 billion.

One thing I know is that no one needs to be told whether he is happy or not. Yes, I'm a prisoner. Why are you complaining for me?

Sanity doesn't work with ipobians. The same set of people that organized rallies for Donald Trump; the same set of people that are waiting for Israel to nuke Nigeria; the same set of people that want Nigerians to bow before them and give them the presidency just because they answer "Okoro" grin if you think your sanity is still intact, then there is even a bigger problem.
