It'll expose many fake oil marketers who receive dollar with intention to import oil and divert it to BDC for profit. The money would better utilise for industrial spare parts and company required raw materials. Nigeria spend about $10b for oil import annually and if the refinery starts operation all this huge dollar will be saved and the need of dollar will drastically be reduced and will significantly add value to naira.
Other main factors that will add value to naira is exportation of local products and rise in oil price at international market.
