Relocating To CANADA by charles009(op): 10:02am On Dec 13, 2020
Hello Folks,

I need your urgent advise. I am married with 2 toddlers and 2 infants.(4 kids)

I am currently an investment banker with a fairly good job.
I've saved up some cash in the range of =N=8m.

I've got a few questions please, all answers will be appreciated.

*would that sum be enough to travel and at least settle in Canada.
* what are my chances of getting a job
*how is life generally in Canada

* I will be 36 next year.
* 4 kids (2 toddlers, 2 infants)
Education:BSc, MSc, MBA

Your advise would be appreciated please...

Is your wife below 30? Does she have a professional degree or a Masters? If yes to both question, let her be the primary applicant.
Based on the current exchange rate, the primary applicant would need just above 4 million naira, while additional dependents would need 1.5 million each, leaving you a total of 11.5 million needed for your family.
Do not forget that you and your spouse need to write the general IELTS and get a good band score of 8.
If both you and your wife are above 30, what gives you a good chance would be either getting a provincial nomination (based on your job skills, or having a family member or relative that can put you up for nomination) or doing a professional French language examination. That would give you between 20 to 50 points extra which should push you above the required cut-off point for the pool

Go and read through the Express Entry (into Canada) thread, it's very informative. Justwise or DisGuy lock this thread please.

Think its hard for most people to go through threads but that's the best way, relocating involves a lot of patient research- so it's better you go through the long detailed route
