Did we play for a draw? When two teams can't find any space to score it usually ends in a goal less draw, did you not know? The game was a game of very minimal chances.

I agree with Ole on the bolded, seem we have matched Mancity in the last 2 season. We won 3 out of 4 games against them last season, and their setup yesterday shows some level of fear/respect.

Agree about Pep being cautious.

He didn’t go all out attacking against us because he knows we can hurt him. There’s a reason Fernandinho was deployed as second in command DM (Rodri is first in command) to break up plays and commit fouls.

He sacrificed a man in midfield to nullify Utd’s attack.

Ole is a clueless...From the formation, it suggested we were going to defend deep and hit them on the counter but Ole opted for a high line which was and is suicidal especially with Maguire and Lindelof at the back...

I had a complete meltdown but I am off it now...I no longer look forward to our matches because Amaka remains Amaka...

I stopped watching after the 2nd goal. I no even log in since the first half of the game. After such games one has to leave space for partying and knee jerk emotions here.

I watched only the first half but the 2 people i blame the most are Ole and AWB in that order.

Ole for setting up with a formation which was defensive but a tactic which was attacking thereby confusing the hell out of his players. He also should have just gone for what worked in the past against Leipzig instead of tinkering with the formation and trying to form one tactical mastermind.

AWB for being a tactical dunce. The same mistakes he made against Solly March in September that allowed Brighton hit our bar several times were repeated against Leipzig's Angelino. He doesn't or maybe just can't differentiate between a full back and a wing back. He was the angel of confusion that scattered the composure of the defense from the start and made it an uphill task for us.
Ole has to bear part of the blame in this as well as the manager because he obviously did not correct this problem between Sept and Dec and also did not correct it early enough during the game.

It was after he ignited the confusion in our defense that terrible things started happening. How can the same ball beat you 3 or 4 times in 15 minutes? When your head is not for decoration?
If AWB steps out to stick to Angelino he silences him for the whole game because a stationary Angelino won't be a problem for AWB's 1v1 skills.
