when are we going to realize we have the laziest set of center forwards in this league though? I used to think it was down to Ole's style but seeing Cavani press defenders and Bruno constantly pressing ahead of our strikers when Cavani is not on the pitch is a complete disgrace.
It's more appalling Ole seem comfortable with this and it's already rubbing off on Greenwood too.

I think OGS should just pick one formation and stick to it. Different formation every match day is not healthy

She has a stable playing system and the players execute it well, and also she's quick to drop or sub off underperforming players in a game, example is the team captain, Zelem that has been chopping bench presently for the past few matches

when you have a system, you can easily replace players without having a huge drop in quality even if there is a drop in quality, the change will be negligible.
Reason why Klopps Liverpool can play a youth team in an EFL cup game and they still play exactly the same way the regular players will play

If a team presses in the disjointed manner that we press the attackers will soon get exhausted. Cavani has already gone back to sick bay but only Bruno's chi is saving him.

Rashford, Bruno, Martial will be pressing but Maguire, Lindelof, Matic will be setting low blocks so they don't get beaten for pace, Pogba will be bouncing around majestically like a yahoo boy, and our full backs will stay deep in our half. Such a press is ineffective and after a while the attackers will lose the zeal to initiate a press that does nothing but get them tired and expose them do muscle injuries.

It is a problem mainly of coaching and training not just the players. Rashford pressed like mad for a couple of years before realizing he was fetching water into a basket.
It is rubbing off on Greenwood because he has realized how useless our press is.

How many times have we changed formation this season

Even among all the systems and formations we've played so far, which one have we mastered that one can say this is us at our best? We have some kind of identity crises and OGS is to be held responsible.

For me I feel the one that is good enough is the 4-2-3-1 but we lack personnel for the double pivot

So many square pegs and round holes in our squad especially the midfield despite the numbers we have there. Pogba plays that double pivot role very well for France oo but struggles for us there. Maybe the Kante effect.

have you noticed that when we go behind in games, we suddenly get our press right and the coordination limits spaces for the opposition and put them on the back foot? far too often this has happened this season and I don't really know if this is a fall back tactic in Ole's armory or just reactionary, given the level of quality on parade in our squad.
