Hello Babyboy2020,

LOI - letter of introduction

Also known as approval letter. You get it when you’re application has been approved. It will contain the details for your study permit. You will need to show it to the border officer when entering Canada.

BVL - Biometric validity letter

You get it when a decision has been made on your application. Whether an approval or rejection. It tells you how long your biometrics is valid for (usually 10 years). After the BVL comes the approval or rejection letter.

You can read the thread from page one to get more detailed info.

Best wishes

LOI - Letter of Introduction: Received after the approval of your visa and should be presented at Point of Entry (POE - Canadian Airport)
BVL - Biometric Validation Letter: This just tells you that your biometrics have been received and is valid for so and so years (actually 10). Most times if received after a medical request its good news and if it drops before a medical request then that application is toast (Most times o!) Ire o!

from your narration, he got medical radical request on the 7th and on the 10th he got mail that he has been refused visa, without going for the exam sef...someone shared here too that he got biometrics letter, and before he went for biometrics, he got another letter that he has been refused...

Please ask your friend if it's biometrics letter or medical request...

the school accommodation is 1220cad, but it's filled up , the school recommended hotel inn downtown it's 85$ per night almost 1.2M for 14days , and when checked Airbnb , I saw booking at 45k for the 14days. Pls has anyone booked accommodation on Airbnb ? I think Airbnb is cheaper compare to other but I'm not sure about it's legit cos we need to make the payment to reserve.

I am using Airbnb. Paid about 1.3k for 21 days in Toronto

Hello Chynwayy,

Yes, you are allowed to apply with family. You need to show that funds are available to support them during their stay in Canada.

Hello Foski01,

Good to have change your program to something much progressive. The note is well simplified and addressing the VO's concerns as stated therein may help you application.

Since the VO raised concerns about the availability of the funds to you, why not make some part payment of your tuition fees from your sponsor's account and have the rest funds cool off in your BA.

You should ensure this time that you sponsor have a good closing balance after making these commitments. There is no need getting a new affidavit of sponsorship or LOI if the details contained therein are valid and updated.

Don't just focus only on trying to prove that your sponsor is financially stable. If you're a matured applicant, demonstrate your employment situation and level of establishment in your home country. There should be evidence and good convincing. If this can be settled, you will have less concern in regards to your HT.

If your sponsor is your in-law, why not briefly tell the VO why the sponsorship intent is important to him. You may also want to demonstrate that your parents are well-established and any close family member of utmost concern to your application.

Don't leave out your future plans and the importance of the prospect course to its fulfillment. Be realistic about it and ensure to use your environment to measure the plans and if possible, briefly discuss the blueprint(s) of its attainment.

The most important thing, avoid too many story telling in your letter, be direct and make it terse.

All the best

Good evening Mr. Just mellow.

As you might know, I was rejected based on finance.

In my previous application, I submitted 11Million and i also paid $12K to the school which covered first semester.

I am battling with arranging my profile my profile currently as i intend reapplying in january.

My sponsor will be paying my full tuition by jan. Also, sponsor's account balance has dropped to about 4Million but it will probably get higher after full tuition payment and at the time of my reapplication. I have funds in my account worth over 4million but i submitted my employment letter which i got from my parent since i am with the family business. The letter has 50,000 as my monthly salary even though i am not being paid but i have investments with the business that generates me income.

Note that I left the investment out of my application in order not to complicate it. I also did not submit my account statement during my first application.

Question:

1. Should i draft a new employment letter stating that i earn 300k and above?

2. Can you suggest a neat way that i can include my personal account in my application without complicating my application?

3. Is there any suggestion for me?

I was denied Visa this morning base on home ties and financial status. I want to order for my gcms notes, but I am not sure I will re-apply, since I am going there as fully funded.

Sorry for the refusal, You should have sent your one year mybankstatement together with the funding letter. The one year bank history helps to prove home ties. Don't give up especially with your funding offer. it is a good thing that you have your ielts, reapply immediately with your ielts and your one year mybankstatement with your funding letter. It does not matter that you do not have enough money for your study in your account as long as your account show regular income. Your one year bank history is to prove home. More so, get a reference letter from your current employer. I am sure you will get it next time and even get it fast.

Thanks JustMellow.

Yes, I printed the online copy as I didn't see any download option. I printed to pdf and edited the unnecessary stories on the printed copy to have just the required details, saved and uploaded it.

I then explained with a 2-3 line sentence in my letter and quoted the TRF number which is also boldly printed on the result page for their validation/verification.

It is bound to end in praise by God's grace...

Abi oh, that "Only" must be an error cos someone on this platform used academic result and got approved.

awys:

From the reply the person said only general training is acceptable does that mean Academic training is not acceptable maybe it's a typo error. This is English ooo only general training is acceptable they shouldn't confuse people they should just say both are acceptable grin grin grin

Sorry about your previous refusal. You have to be careful with changes you make to your application now since you already had a previous application.

You can draft a new employment letter with salary of N300k but what matter more is that you bank history should reflect this from the month the new employment takes off. More so, you should submit one year bank history even if the new salary does not reflect more than couple of months as long as it reflect from the month of the employment start date. Also, include ielts with your next application to improve your chances and speed up your application
