Nobody collects 1300CAD in Canada a month doing a full time job even if it is cleaning toilet. Minimum wage is $14 per hour. If you are working full time (40 hours a week) cleaning toilets, you will earn 2240 CAD a month before taxes. Most people in those low category of work do overtime or 2 jobs. It won't be surprising seeing that person take up a weekend job where they will work for extra 10 hours over the weekend and make extra money.
Now, people in those category have a very low tax bracket. Canada does not have a flat tax for everyone,

though I'm not supportive of some points here. but that loneliness is a big point that can make many to regret their choice. Using America as an example, Hollywood is making Nigerians think that it's all enjoyment in the us. when trills of electricity and internet leave your mouth and you realize its all work and work, you'll be disappointed. Not much time for social life as in Nigeria, only the American rich experience some form of good life, but for working class, no. but movies will not let you know. it is same in other developed countries. the worst is when you don't blend in culturally. you'd hate yourself as you won't have an interesting conversation with anyone. Pretty much everything she said here is true depending on the context. I.e if you convert every price to dollar, Nigeria seems cheaper. But it has to be taken in the context of what the people earn. If you earn N1mln a month in Nigeria, you will save more than the average person in Canada, but the reality is that how many people earn that here. For eg I can travel to UK more easily than my sister who has been in UK for almost 20years can come to Nigeria. Comfortable life in Manchester, but to save common £300 every month na problem, meanwhile I save over $1000 a month, but I may be one in a million in Nigeria.

However, there are also probably another 20 reasons why Canada is better than Nigeria!!

What you are forgetting is that even though these things might look cheaper, they are also almost non existent. You pay $80 for electricity in Canada. A You also pay the same here because after you have bought you pre-paid power, you will still budget 1000 everyday for fuel. At the end of the month 30,000 has gone on fuel. So what are we now saying.

The rat race! work in the morning, afternoon and night. They're workforce Nations.

Those of us who ain't good with keeping job routines who prefers owning our businesses rather than work for others. Sees Nigeria as the best place to easily own a business.

Working tirelessly paycheck to paycheck in which the system was designed to take away from you is a no no for me. Majority of Americans and Canadians don't even have up to us$10,000 in their bank accounts.
