When please? I tried buying yesterday and today at market price, no single offer
Was marked down yesterday with offers of about 1.6M+ @70kobo before market opened, my bid was placed at pre-market and filled immediately market opened, thereafter conductor locked door......
Any transaction you see after that till now are more of cross deals......

Btw, I'm surprised at the bids and long queue in Mansard, as at the time I checked, it was 54M+, thought many people don't do insurance.......well maybe it's only on this forum anyway. smiley

When I checked and saw that it's security issues, I knew it would took the whole of today, just hope it won't extend to tomorrow.
They're supposed to be on top of this issue by now, maybe set a reminder or something.

[quote author=Lion123 post=97116666]It's amusing. Banks in SA are trading at a PE of 30+. Kenyan banks are trading at an average PE of 12. My beautiful, sexy Zenith which has CONSISTENTLY made 9-figures in USD (net profit) in the last decade (even under Buhari's dark clouds), and has billions of dollars in reserves, is trading at a PE of 3. It's ridiculous. [/quote
]

PE is a function of perceived risks. With the way the Nigerian economy has been run in the last 10 or so years with inconsistencies and policy somersaults, the risk premium is very high. One thing our economic managers have not learnt is that the greatest asset of any economy is the intangible of investor confidence.

Stocks that will be on the Lord's side grin

Dancement, Wapco, vitafoam, Fidson, Cutix etc

Stocks that might/will be affected

Unilever, Nestle, PZ, Dansugar, Cadbury, flourmill, etc.

Apart from vitafoam grin grin and some health coys I still think we should wait for FY results/ dividend declaration before buying should begin except you are doing a quick one (you can be trapped). Most movements now are being priced in. Good luck grin

This is an unfortunate yearly ritual by MorganCapital and i honestly think they should do something about it.
Similar incident happened exactly one year ago, 16-Dec-2019. Just woke up to the server been down on a Monday morning, sweat ran down my face. ??
Please automate your website license renewal as you do for my annual payment of using your platform. I cannot be going through this every year.

'cos their security certificate is renewed yearly. Such would be the case exactly 12mths from today unless they renew before 16/12/2021

I expect a rally in January before the market begins to look down. To all newbies looking to enter the market, it will be quite challenging to get good stocks at lower prices than last week's lows but it is possible.

So shine your eyes, set your traps and let's make some 40-50%. If stocks don't break previous week lows tomorrow or next, it's likely it will not break last week's lows this year.

I believe everyone is waiting to buy during the holiday season and together, they help move the market up. Early birds will further move the market up in January believing it is another bull rally, then we will quietly step out.

When this plays out in January by God's grace, we will discuss the next two months Feb and March.
