Normally according to ncc... You need atmost 3 different SIM cards...just go to the mobile operator office be it glows, Mtn, or Airtel.. With your nin number.. And get the phone number updated with nin number and capture. And yes it is just one nin number...just like one bvn number for multiple bank account

This registration has been on since and I even registered in 2013. So I'm surprised alot of persons here don't know what NIN is.
I wonder what it will cost the NIMC to do a thorough grassroot sensitization.

Sure, it is not a scam.

I have registered for it. An OTP was sent for them to verify that I am actually the owner of the number before completing the registration. I do hope things are finally settled without any fear of blocking the line.

Other network should roll out something similar for people to do it from the comfort of their homes rather than queuing up at their various offices. The pandemic is real and second wave infection rate just set in.

Hahaha, once something is not useful immediately to an average Nigerian, he/she won't do shit about it.

I got my NIN in 2014,but it was of no use to me because I had voter's card, until the card was stolen. I had to fall back to NIN(as one of the valid ID in Nigeria).

I got to know about it because my parents did theirs during OBJ adminstration. So they said we should all do it.

Registered since 2013 and I'm yet to get the ID, it's not ready until now according to NIMC

Really scam....i have the National ID but yet using the *346# to get my NIN the system respond with NO data available....and some without NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD can generate theirs . You see the confusion?

Ur NIN is one. I think this is just like having more than one bank account linked to one bvn.
All ur Sims will be linked to ur NIN.

You need to register and get an NIN number first.
Only one NIN (like BVN) is issued to each person.
The NIN is then linked to both your BVN and your SIM card number.
You can have more than one sim card linked to your single NIN but can't have more than one BVN linked to it.
