I tracked my passport and got the following update: The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. XXXXXXX has been collected from the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja on 2020/12/16.
Does this mean that my passport is now with DHL?
Because I did a 2-way courier service with DHL and I tried tracking the return WAYBILL NO, on DHL's website but it's not showing the package has been received.
Do I get in touch with DHL or Abuja VFS?
Yes, expect it between today and Monday max

Hi Adeenzo, i have similar update as yours and on contacting DHL yesterday, they just sent me a mail that mine is booked to be picked up before 6pm today.

I think you should chase DHL at nginquiry@dhl.com; track@dhl.com; ngdispatch@dhl.com. Dont forget to atatch the return waybill and quote the waybill number as a subject on the mail.

Keep bombarding their mails, they always respond to mails fast.

Hi JustMellow,

Thanks a mil for your advice! I opened the GIC account 3 weeks ago (November 26).

Like you've said, I will ask the bank for a letter that says "Student Loan". All our correspondences up until now have only said "Loan". Fingers crossed.

My plan is to offset the debt when I resign (I will be eligible for some funds from the company on resignation). I don't know if I should mention this, as I don't know how to prove this.

Thanks again!

Hello Jonosas,

Thank you for the confirmation in regards to GIC. I think "Study Loan" is most appropriate than than "Student Loan."

Apologies for any confusion caused. I look forward to your success.

All the best

I tire ooo me too that's the same question on my mind ooo these things are basic things on CIC website to get a first hand information from no one that's going to Canada that doesn't know what all these basic things are as they always say if you want to hide something from a black man put in a book. All these basic things are on the website free of charge then when you not clear on the process you can come back and ask but asking basic things I feel it's like dragging back the process to square one.Its just my opinion though. angry
infact..

Good day everyone.
Please I need assistance concerning my Canada study permit application.
I have submitted my application online on the 19th of November. Two days ago, I got a message from IRCC, saying that I am eligible for Nigerian Student Express.
Please did I make any mistake in the course of my application?

Hi

Im traveling in January for winter semester and I have already completed my fall semester from here in Nigeria.

1. No, you don’t need to have paid your full tuition.

2. Just hold the tuition deposit receipt. It shows you have confirmed your place at the school.

3. I haven’t paid the tuition of winter semester but I was still given my enrollment letter. You just have to register your courses for the semester and you will get your enrollment letter.

4. Don’t take risks, just have an enrollment letter at hand no matter the airline you flying with. I have seen it is also asked for at immigration in Canada.

I hope my answers helps to clarify your questions.

Honney85:
Good afternoon guys, hope everybody is doing fine

Please o I have few questions

1). Must you pay your full tuition before travelling?

2). Are they asking tuition receipt from pple who have started schooling from Nigeria or is it applicable to everyone even though u are starting school in january? I only paid tuition deposit and my school has not said anything about me paying my full tuition. I even mailed them about it but no response

3) for pple who are to resume in jan and haven't paid their tuition, in other words, haven't gotten their enrollment letter will it be a problem?

4). Has anyone who used another airline to get to Canada bn asked for the enrollment letter? Cos it seems it's only pple using Ethiopian airline that has shared this experience.

Please, abeg make una help me answer these questions. Make person for know wetin to do bikonu

Dear All,

I think I've reached a crossroad on this Canada stuff, here is why.
Cambrian College gave me an admission after two days of applying and expected me to pay 8k plus CAD before January 1st.

The issue now is that my uncle (same surname) is proving stubborn to help but I got another rich man(mother side, not the same surname) that is ready to spend and provide all necessary support.

How do I prove to VO that I am related to the person?

What are my chances of getting visa if I use this person?

Please help abeg una. Getting tired already.

You did not make any mistake. It is a new channel of processing study permit for Nigerians and it is faster than their regular process.

You will need to meet some requirements such as having an IELTS result where you have a band score of minimum of 6 all round LSRW.

Also you need to have a minimum amount of 30k CAD in your account as proof of fund. You need to have sun here finds in your account for 6month and be able to show a statement of 12 months.

If you qualify for this the you can go ahead to submit the documents requested for.

Let the gurus please add more to this.

First of all, take a deep breath three times and tell yourself at each point of breathing out: I'll get passed this!

To answer your question, you didn't get the NSE email because of any error/mistake on your part. It's just part of a new process that is aimed at expediting application processing, reducing the wait time to, is it, 20 days (?). Search through this forum backward; you'll see all the previous explanations/discussions that have been dedicated to this NSE issue.

My recommendation will be: go for a Postgraduate program, whether PGD or PGCert. Also have in mind that a 2-year program will earn you a 3-year Post work visa, which is ample time to process your PR.

Thanks bro! I so much appreciate

No you didn't make any mistake. The NSE is a New scheme newly introduced for Nigerians to expedite the Application process within 20days if you can submit the required documents as stated in the letter it's just like the scheme introduced for the Asians and indians the student direct stream the process is similar to that.If you can get the docs before the time they gave elapses fine and good it expidites the process according to them but if you can't you can sit out and wait for the time to elapse but your application will still be processed through the regular processing time so the choice is yours is not mandatory though and wouldn't affect your application if you cannot meet up with the time.Hope this helps

No Covid-19 test anywhere jare. I used Ethiopian airlines. Twas a smooth trip.

I was asked to present my
Passport, photocopy of data page, ArriveCan, funding letter and enrolment letter at the Lagos airport.

At POE Canada, I was asked to show my
LOA, ArriveCAN receipt on phone, enrolment letter.

That was all, immediately Study permit was issued
