That’s what the reviews are useful for. Go through reviews before making any purchase. E.g in the attached pics.

We can see what you use Aliexpress for......... shocked

Oh really? Means I’ve been extremely lucky then. Been buying from there for years and never had any issue. I don’t buy human hair there sha. There’s this wholesale vendor on ig that sells good quality hair. The company is in China and PayPal is accepted.

Do you believe there are a lot of fake reviews on Amazon ?...

There are companies set up specifically for writing fake reviews and they are making a lot of money (£millions )... so don’t be deceived

If u have ever sold on any platform u will understand to an extent how ratings work
Shops on aliexpress are independent shops that subscribed to sell on the platform, aliexpress has a reputation to protect, ratings are done wen a purchase is completed it is independent of the seller. If u purchase from aliexpress constantly, sometimes u receive a msg from stores not to negatively review them if u have issues, they plead u contact them first, if they can't solve the issue, u can't take it to aliexpress...

Hello everyone, please I need advice on how to handle this situation.
I got into UK in October through student Tier 4 visa. After completing visa verification from school, they sent a mail that my brp was not produced due to home office technical issues.
I have sent mails and called for help till this morning, school keeps saying they can't fast track home office process.

What can I do in this distress?
Is it wise to contact the home office by my self?(school advised I let them handle the situation).
Has body experienced this before?
Your experience and advice will be of great help. Thanks
I was in same mess with you all I did was to reach out to my school immigration unit for assistance. They mail their contact person at the home office and got a feedback after 5days. Right now, I have mail from them on where to pick it up.

In my case , I sent to over 5 different emails explaining the situation only two of them replied and promised to follow up. I don't know if it was my email or the school contact that made the difference.

It not hard to find out... just google this topic and you see it exist commonly ..... . Not just Ali express but many other sites as well.

What stops sellers from buying from each other and putting fake reviews.....or giving friends to buy and leaving fake reviews. It very simple and easy to do

That been said , this not hearsay but what I saw with my eyes. Review posted on one seller , exactly the same are posted on other sellers (word for word) Despite both products been totally different . Even with pictures self ... it just laziness if not I would have posted receipts .

Others online have noticed as well

Hahaha who says there aren’t fake reviews on Amazon! Hahaha I am presently in a group for specifically for review of Amazon products. I have different groups for this! So many

This is how the trick works

You need to have a PayPal account

The seller of the goods look for reviewers or anybody that has an Amazon account

The seller tells you to buy the product and leave a positive review or rate 5 star or some just buy it and do nothing

After purchasing these goods and based on what the sellers wants from u and been done the seller send back the money you used in purchasing the goods to your PayPal account back even with commission!

I no go lie the business sweet! You get lot of free goods! Anything you can get for free.... Chinese are the culprit. Find attached the telegram I am that advertise the goods for review.

Sis do you mind sharing the plug? I’ve bought hair thrice on AliExpress, it’s been a disaster twice. Only 1 is manageable.

Here you go ma’am. Please ensure you request for video of your hair before shipping, tell the lady you want 180 density or higher and also use PayPal as mode of payment so incase you are not satisfied with the hair, you can easily request refund.

You completely missed the point in that post.

Ah! Now I got the point but no, conspiracy theory isn’t my thing; I’m book smart, not street smart.

Actually no I don’t get the point, I know you’re the mod; I even mentioned you to someone here but spaced your name with an “and” to not tag you. So I didn’t get why you were re-iterating it to me again.

Besides, you missed my joke as well!

Got when I was in Nigeria though, then it was 10k
Current price
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNiK1nr
Which I think it's still ok
Judging from stuffs I got recently from aliexpress it took 3weeks max to get delivered to me

Do you pay import duty for the goods ? Reason why I am asking is because a friend of mine ordered her wedding dress, by the time she paid the import tax ithe saving wasn’t worth it.

I have been approached for this many times by different sellers and I declined based on principle. When I want to buy a product on Amazon I like to believe that the reviews are authentic. I always look at the negative reviews first , I also look at the number of reviews. Amazon are doing everything they can to clamp down on fake reviews. If I buy a product and it’s bad I will be placing my review there, if it’s good same thing.

Lol, there are always fake reviews on any website that allows review's.

Some fake reviews are done codedly. Some are just poorly done (review doesn't even concern the product

Some sellers / buyers know that if you classify this as a "gift" then gift is not taxable . So I seen where the buyer would tell the seller to call it a gift

However not everyone likes that principle so it would be taxed depending on the value

How much is the training.....£80 ?.

If yes then why not... there are not many options for student jobs these days due to lockdown up and down ... if you need the cash then hold on to what available until the desirable becomes available
thanks so much for your response. The training plus tax is 118 but like you said it appears to be the desirable for now. Thanks
