Everyone is blocking UK but for us we are waiting for America to act first before we do. As soon as Americans block UK you see that Nigeria will anounce immediately.

This is really what we need at this time, Buhari -led government should do the needful. Based on my personal experience, it is expedient we heed this call.

Nonsense harder than necessary hit...PDP propaganda. Nigeria is one of the countries that better managed Covid 19. Compare to USA, Europe, Asia and Latin America and even in Africa. So what's the opposition insinuating...jobless opposition that has no good thing to offer the country.

No, he should not resign.
As bad as it is, if it is just to be present when Buhari and his Cabals are allocating all funds to the North in their FEC Meeting, let him be there as a WITNESS.
He cant make any change from the outside, if any at all.

Let me even ask: If he resigns, what happens next?

Buhari appoints another Northerner or Easterner as V.P, does that change anything?
Buhari continues to rule without a V.P, does that change anything?

I am sure the V.P and many other concerned Southern Nigerians have weighed these Options and decided IT IS BEST he STAYS in there.
This excuse of staying within is very lame and tired. Nigerians cling on to positions for their pockets and benefits.
Since Nigerians have been clinging on to power within bad govts including Abacha own, what difference were they able to make?
If staying had any altruistic motives, why is Nigeria still this bad? shocked shocked

If this is all their clinging on has achieved since 1960, then the cling-ons have been a big part of the problem, never the solution.

Just admit that if Osinbajo lick Fulani balls well enough, they might give him the keys to Aso Rock. That is his hope.

But Northerners are very cunning. They won't give anyone from the South who is over ambitious or who can be manipulated by an overambitious person.

They might give it to the South but Fayemi or Fashola stand a better chance. Even Amosun has a chance

But does that negate d validity of what he said?
Yes, when political leaders past and president get to the top level of governing its a matter of respect and decorum on this very serious global pandemic matter. It would be a simple matter for the former VP to pick up the phone or travel to Aso Rock from Dubai and confer with PMB and VP Y.O. in private and voice his viewpoint.
Even though GEJ couldn't stop the elite looters from draining the national treasury he has proven to be a great post-office statesman. I respect him 100.

And btw, wtf is Atiku and Timi doing living in Dubai? huh

Initially u said:

"If I were a betting man I'd bet he's cooling himself and making statements from in his penthouse in Dubai. Land of the oloshos."

And I asked u how all this talk of olosho& Dubai negates d validity of his advise to FG. And then u came up with d above which is an entirely different topic all together. Even ur response doesn't negate d validity of what Atiku said

So, in your opinion, if it were Fashola or Fayemi that was the V.P at this moment, would either of them resign?
But you have dodged the more important question: What happens after the resignation?
Does that stop Buhari and his cabal from doing whatever they are doing or want to do and if so, HOW?

It is your right to dislike Osinbajo (I honestly think the V.P job is just a decoration, the way Nigeria's constitution is written, and deliberately written that way) but you cant heap all the blame of Nigeria on his head afterall, he cannot do beyond what the constitution empowers him to do......
.....maybe just lick the yansh of whoever is President undecided undecided grin
Sambo and many other V.P's before Osinbajo, were "lickers" as well or did you not know that the nick-name they gave to V.P Sambo, under President Jonathan was "MUTE Button"
. grin grin

BTW: Fayemi will make one of the worst President Nigeria will ver produce, if he was mistakenly put there, the way Buhari was.
God forbid we repeat the same mistake, back-2-back

I have no connection with Osinbajo. Most of us saw him as a brilliant human rights advocate with Christian morale as a pastor to boot. We didn't expect him to become just an ordinary self-serving politician. Alas we were mistaken.

So you mean if you cannot prevent evil you should associate with it? Osinbajo does not have to do anything after resigning. Because even now in "power" he is not doing anything. grin cheesy,
No difference.

It didn't see any point in answering what he will do out of office because of the above plus he wasn't born as VP. He had other jobs before. If they had lost 2019 election nko? Won't he find another job to do?
