bro, can u pls share some of your experience with me, I am looking for job in a bar

With the little experience I got,I noticed that males have little issues to worry about compared to their female counterparts.

You just have to be smart, both in your calculations.

You must be friendly cause some customers can be quiet rude especially male to male.

Calculations is quite important as you have to always report your daily calculations (Daily payments or something like that).

If you can hail your fellow G's wella, you'll sure get enough booze.

Pele. Bar is not a place for sermon or moral trope.
It's a place people relax, cool off and catch whatever fun away from the stress of life..

There are girls who wouldn't mind, who are in tune with the demand of bar jobs. And it's not big deal what goes down over there. If you can't cope no one is forcing you...
Let people enjoy themselves in peace. Some of the bar girls are not complaining. They get tips, fun and even opportunity from it if they are smart. It's their life and stop acting holier than thou.

undecided

I ain't acting shit.

It's called experience undecided
Observations OR whatever you term it.

Just keep holier than thou out of it.

Na hoelosho dey work for bar. Are you a learner? Even if she's a decent girl with good moral standards, it's only a matter of time before she starts sleeping around with different "drunkards" who are ready to spend anything to get in her pants, even her employer sef go later chop him own. A decent lady who is intelligent should know she has no business working in a bar, unless she wants to end up getting corrupted

***na only hoelosho dey work for bar. Are you a learner??***

I strongly believe that might actually be a stereotype.

Trust me, it's not a stereotype. It's just the fact, the reality. The girl might be a very decent girl from a decent background and upbringing, but as time goes by, she will definitely get corrupted one way or another.

There will be daily enticements, daily wooing and toasting, daily tips and gifts etc from numerous customers who are mostly womanizers and some of them are ready to spend anything. Some are cultists or society people, some are criminals and they will use intimidation to get in her pants or money doesn't work. It's only a matter of time before she succumbs. Good thing you were intelligent enough to quit on the second day.

No wonder most of the members here are unemployed. If it was the only means to feed one’s self then the person will create tricks to counter the job’s challenges.

Was experimenting per say.

But,I strongly believe if a lady in question is smart, she'll be able to scale through intact.

No fly ever scales through inside a spider's web once it gets caught, and you can't swim in the ocean and the waves won't touch you. Even in the Bible, that says "Resist the Devil", but then it says "FLEE from fornication". It doesn't say "Resist fornication", e get y. A smart lady, if truly she's smart, particularly street smart, would know that's not a place for decent women to work.

cheesy cheesy cheesy

Ordinary small touching of your bumbum na him you quit so? cheesy

Just joking.

In Nigerian bars, touching inappropriately seems to be a norm to attract more customers and keep the customers drinking and spending more. It's an unwritten law. It takes a special kind of lady to work in a bar.

And the bar owners often expect you as a barmaid to encourage such sexual contacts in order to increase profits.

Sounds like a hard nut to crack. You can accept innocent touches but overboard you can Hala.

But then it all depends on the girl abi is it that bad. Well it gotta be that bad considering how every girl looks finer with each bottle of beer cancelled

Which one is innocent touches again

Touching is touching. Nothing innocent about it.
