The only region tinubu may win in southern Nigeria is South West.
And it is going to be heavily contested there.

He is going to lose from Ore down to Ebonyi with a landslide.
There are over a hundred tribes within that geographical Zone.

If you think Igbos are your only problem, think again.

Watering the ground for the presidential tickets to be zoned to the SW. After all, an Igbo man, in Obasanjo, have ruled before. Politicians eh?

1. This allegation of obasanjo being ibo has never been in the public space and no one has ever pointedly accused him of being ibo till now.
2. How then was he supposed to have submitted himself for DNA test when no one ever demanded it?
3. The man you claimed was his father (don't know where you got your information but it should be taken with a pint of salt since it has never been so publicly alleged) never claimed obasanjo as his son in his lifetime and even after his death, no member of the man's family has claimed that obasanjo is their own.
4. I find it difficult to believe that the family of the supposed father of obasanjo would refuse to claim "their own" especially when he has become one of the greatest Nigerians to have ever lived and therefore should be a source of pride and joy to his supposed father's family!
5. Kindly provide the source of your information and further evidence to the effect that obasanjo's father is the man you mentioned
6. He who asserts must prove!

deji17:
Joseph Okwudili Onyejekwe . Obi of Onitsha (1962–1970).

Only a DNA test can confirm if this is true or not.

If it is indeed false, I am sure OBJ would have submitted himself to a DNA test.

Imagine being angry that 25% derivation was suggested for people who should normally have over 50% derivation! He said since they don't have oil, what will he tell his children if he supports 25% for Ijaws, did he also asked himself whether his children are suffering the environmental degradation like the Ijaw children are suffering? Lack of equity and justice is the bane of this fraudulent contraption.

On the issue of whether Obj is an igbo man. So if we assume his father was Igbo, does it mean Igbos have done their presidency and now its Yorubas turn? How deceitful can people be?

grin They are playing the cards gradually. By the time it gets to the check-up stage in 2023, then Igbos will be forced to learn politics. Strategy and tactics saturated with sophistication grin

You mustn't be honest with your enemy in battle. When you are weak you pretend strong to scare them off. When you are strong, you pretend weak to lure them to you. This is not deceit. People may think this is a hearsay.....if you go through my comments, sometime in October, I made mention of this that Obasanjo is an Igbo man....but Tinubu urchins here attacked me like Rottweiler.

His father was an Anambra born Methodist Church or something missionary in Ogun state where he met OBJ's mom and married her and remained in Ogun as a local missionary.

The man is saying the truth. But that does not mean Igbos have ruled Nigeria because Obasanjo denied his father's tribe and instead remained a Yoruba man, so he is a bonafide Yoruba son.

The current President of Gabon is also an Igbo man; he got to Gabon as a Biafra refugee child........its also a known fact.....you can google about it to learn more.

Clown.

Obasanjo was never supported by yorubas even till today.

He is Yoruba but he won inspite of them not because of them.

The only candidate supported by majority of the south west and won was Buhari in 2015.

Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos

Senator Anthony Adefuye, a Third Republic senator and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday blasted Afenifere, pan Yoruba socio-political organisation for claiming he was distorting history over his statement on former President Olusegun Obasanjo's heritage.

Adefuye in an interview with Daily Independent had said Obasanjo is an Igboman with an Igbo father from Anambra state while his mother was from Abeokuta in Ogun state.

Yinka Odumakin, Afenifere's National Publicity Secretary however said described Adefuye's statement as a "twisted and perverted logic".

He also said some Yoruba sons are trying to join others to denigrate the heritage of the former president in a bid to advance their political interests.

Speaking with our correspondent on Thursday, Adefuye said he parted ways with Afenifere leaders because they are not honest people.

Adefuye who accused them of cheating the late Funso Williams also added that Afenifere leaders are embittered against him for supporting Obasanjo in the 1999 presidential election.

He said "Odumakin is a man who talks for what he will get from what he says. He knows no facts. The only sin I committed against Afenifere was that I supported Obasanjo during the 1999 presidential election".

"At that time, they also cheated late Funsho Williams and so I decided not to work with them. I have just been keeping quiet not because we don't know them. We know them very well. The problems they are facing now, they caused it themselves".

"So, that is why they have no followership anymore. Before it is the party that Afenifere supports that wins election but today, when they are in any political party, nobody is there and they lose because they are never honest. They are not honest people. They don't speak the truth".

"When we were in the 2014 National conference, that was why some of them went and take money from President Goodluck Jonathan and said that he should make derivation 25 percent. I asked, if you make derivation 25 percent, how does that save we Yorubas that have no oil? When my children will come and read in history that I was part of the people that said derivation should go to Ijaw people?".

The elderstatesman also backed his claim that restated Obasanjo is not a Yoruba man with an incident that happened in 1999 shortly after Obasanjo's victory in the 1999 presidential election.

"When we were campaigning for him, most of the time I was with him in Ota, Ogun state. After he won the presidential election in 1999, this delegation came from Anambra state and they said they wanted to see him as their son who has just won election".

"Obasanjo refused and didn't allow them to enter that day. I was with him and was pleading with him to allow them to enter and hear what they wanted to say but he refused. The national dailies flew it the next day. I know Obasanjo very well so I know what I'm talking about" Adefuye said.

https://www.independent.ng/obasanjo-afenifere-leaders-have-no-followership-because-they-are-not-honest-people-adefuye/

Truth in Nigeria usually come out through an unusual form or way. Anybody with little sense in Nigeria knows Yoruba land has no crude oil. In addition, Yoruba would say or do anything to achieve a cheap political point. Yoruba do not want any good services or derivation to go to Ijo. It is very clear why some of the goons from Yoruba shout about land lock of and no crude oil in Igbo land. The so-called minorities from southern Nigeria should by now know who really fan your interest in Nigeria.

So he should react to every rumour without hard evidence!!! You know how many things that have been said about him over the years without any evidence? You think he is that jobless? Anyone who has hard facts should present it via press briefing / conference! Adefuye said nothing worth responding to! When he comes up with tangible names, facts, witnesses and evidence, then he'll be taken seriously.

I don't think you got the name right, but OBJ's father is an Igbo man. OBJ himself knows and that is why he has some affinity towards Igbos.

Even during the civil war, OBJ wasn't active around Onitsha battle.....he even got injured and was withdrawn.......though it was claimed that he made it to look like he was injured in order to avoid Onitsha battle.
