Luggage allowance is usually 23kg only per bag so las las you will still buy food when you get here .

Even clothes, if you pack so few you end up having to buy here so choose carefully . There is food everywhere in the UK.

It can take anything from a week to a month depending on the season.

Now she said she wants to use my statement of account to send to her own school and she would tell the school she kept the money in my account: please is this even safe? I dont want anything to jeopardize my chances of getting visa. Do people do this and get away with it? Like use someone else’s statement of acct as proof of funds?

It very easy to do a bit of research... you said you are looking for accommodation. And jesmond3945 responded. Just put that response in google and it easy to see it an accommodation with rooms that is potentially for students

These schools accept HND with good number of years of work experience in related field of study

I want to believe you are trying to get yourself sorted during the 10 days quarantine period in UK. If yes, then I will not see anything bad in carrying some of the stuffs mentioned especially if you have nobody in UK to stay with.
But be careful with some hyperactive immigration officer at our airport who might want to obtain you.
