Errrrr I was gonna take a small bottle of dettol along with me cuz of my allergies (regardless of whether it can be bought there or not); I’ll have to use water while I’m in quarantine and there’s no way I’ll go to a store to get one during this time.

The pure water/water dispenser part is a bit unnecessary but thanks for your advice..

That's OK.
Also remember that you can still order things online to be delivered to you in your quarantine location.
Just get a free trial of Amazon Prime and you get next day delivery on many items.
Amazon takes Nigerian cards too, so you don't need to wait till you open an account and get a UK bank card to get things you need while in quarantine.

Please for someone with a medical condition needing to see a nurse as soon as he arrives Uk, what are the procedures of accessing Uk health care especially during isolation period?

Emergency is your only option.
They'll have to send you an ambulance.

Go to any A&E...... accident and emergency. It's a department within the hospital and you will be attended to . So find the closest to your destination

First of all, I really want to thank you all for the selfless work being done here, Is only God that can reward u with great blessing.
Secondly, I would like to ask that can married couple apply separately for tier 4 visa wife and husband would be going for bsc degree and MSC respectively?. Like my earlier post that I posted I wrote that I would love to pursue a degree in Nursing, but I dont know which one to choose either bsc or msc but I was advised that I wont be able to practise back home If i go with msc pre registration. So we have made a conclusion that both should apply differently because I dont want marriage to affect my dream vice versa.
So my question is can we apply differently as an independent applicant? Thank you .

Hello,
@justwise, @mimilyrics I am here for advice. I am already in the UK for my PGCE course and i must confess it's really tedious. I never expected the the degree of shock I'm still in and i miss my family so much.
I was about commencing the dependant visa when a thought struck me, i thought it would be better i invite my family to come visit instead since i have barely 8 months on my visa and the cost implications aren't comparable . Although, they can still do the dependant route but i prefer they don't spend so much on visa and IHS.
I also thought to have my husband's niece come over to help with the kids. I would have preferred going home but i can't due to the nature of my course, it runs alongside the sec school calendar and breaks are averagely 2weeks before the Summer holiday.
Can i please get opinions, i don't want to complicate their application. I terribly miss home and it's having a toll on my mental health.
Thank you.

Honestly if you're well funded, pls go ahead. You guys could just find a way of attending the same school or different schools in same city, for bonding and cost saving purposes

Husband niece taking care of children is something you thread carefully. UK doesnt do child labour so this shouldnt be an option depending on how old this niece is..... so start preparing your mind that your family can visit but your kids two parents would be responsible for taking care of them

As for visiting visa, I think that allowed as well if you dont want to spend the full tier 4 dependent amount and you are happy for them to return back after the visit

Yes you can and you can also apply together with no prob at all as long you can meet the financial requirement.

The niece is over 20 years , so child labour is out. I just felt since she comes around and completed her OND waiting to begin HND.

Yes, you can.
Just remember that some Nigerian banks have different limits on their online transactions (for instance Standard Chartered has a limit of the naira equivalent of $500 a month)

Good morning,

I am currently trying to pay for IHS and Visa application fee. I have some queries

1. I had filled in the information of my dependents on both the IHS link and in my visa application but on the summary page, it is stating "you do not have dependents" and it's processing amount due to only myself

2. I own and have funded a KYC 3 Paga account. Do I really need a card linked to the account before payment can be enabled. A friend is insisting this is the only way.

Thanks as you help a brother out

Answering just number 2, you don’t need to link a card to your Paga, just fund your Paga wallet and pay for your IHS and visa fee
