Thanks for the information & enlightenment.

Actually my intentions is not to work.
I have some certification & training (which is closely related to the program am going for)I wanna do, most especially online but low availability of Power Supply & Poor Internet in Naija is not making it go seamless for me

I will try consider some factors before crossing the I's & dot the T's.

Am also trying to consider July 2021 aswell.

Thanks
If that's the reason I think it's valid you can go then with proof that you will be doing some certification's related to your course they should understand my concern is just a valid and genuine reason to go months before your resumption if it's part of your study program then I think it would fly .All the best!!!

My wife and daughter not allowed to fly to Canada via Lufthansa yesterday.
Please learn from my mistake.
My wife was cleared after presenting several documents, Eg. A valid job offer in Canada, while my daughter was not allowed to fly, an infant of 3 yrs old. SOWP visa application was made to together with my kid application, upon approval, my wife Visa annotated as Worker, while my daughter's Visa annotated Visitor.
Due to his annotation, my daughter's was not allowed to fly. Visitors are not allowed to come to Canada.

We spent over 4 hours explaining that they are not coming as a visitor, the kid is a dependent.
Lesson, Make sure u get all requirements on ground like a JOB offer, spouse Pay Subs, Accommodation, Copy of husband permit, exemption to fly letter, Authorization letter ( Apply 14 days earlier before departure) ArriveCan App, etc.

like @awys said, you have to think about the step before taking it.
From what you just said, I think you can explain to the immigration officer you want to know the city more and also intend to run a course that will give you an edge before school resumes (you have to show proof of it as well).
Mind you, all these means more money to be spent, so you need to make proof of fund available just in case they ask you.
Also, your family friend can write a letter stating he will cover all your expenses within that 3 months and the said course will be online.

Hi guys, please how do you submit my online application? Mine has been declining and the bank just told me I can’t do online dollar transaction of more than 100$.

I used my GTBANK MasterCard. You can find someone close to you that has one.

Tomorrow is public holiday for IRCC offices world over. Since 26th fell on a Saturday, they moved their own boxing day to 28. So if there's to be any good news, it could be from Tuesday, I think.

Planning to apply for January intake?
Please defer to the next intake because the proccessing time for nigerian applicants should be around 3months or even more due to covid.
I'll advice you to defer.
All the best.

Bros it’s too late. Just defer your admission and apply for your SP as soon as possible so you can have enough time.

I'm studying in Toronto. I found a place where I paid 700 CAD for 16 nights. I had a private bathroom but a shared kitchen.
You'd have to wear a mask to use any shared spaces, like the kitchen or garden area, or when picking up food order.
In the same accommodation, you can also book a room with shared bathroom, which is allowed. But going to and from your room, you'd have to mask up.

Okay, that's good. I thought the shared bathroom is not allowed for quarantine.

Hi, I have applied for Canadian visa, got the NSE letter and I have uploaded the required documents and my eligibility review has started. I did my medicals on the 11th of December and it is yet to be updated. I just saw that I had to email multiple offices and I just did so.
I was just wondering if my passport will still need to be stamped when my visa gets approved as I have a subsisting visitors visa that is valid till my passport expires.
I wonder if anyone had had an experience on this case and can she’s more light on this area
Gods grace!

Any help?

I don't think you will pay just mail the admission department that the timeline is short for you to get response from IRCC that you would like to defer then they will tell you the steps to take or reissue another acceptance letter effecting the new idate

The student visa is different from the visit visa.
So it will still need to be stamped.

Hope this helps. kiss
