I think your final report should be the WAEC result, most schools will accept it with result checker pin to confirm from WAEC website.
I got 2 admission offers already and still waiting for more hopefully before starting my visa process.

Wow
Which schools? Were you offered full aid?

good day to you all, I want to book my flight now to Nashville from Lagos

1. I see a Turkish airline from Lagos to new york- then I will find my way from JFK to Newark for my connecting flight to Nashville, is it advisable to book that flight? if yes does the covid 19 test requires you to pass through JFK to NEWARK airport? ( please note Turkish airline doesn't fly to Newark )

2. Is it advisable to book a flight separately, I wanted to book a Turkish airline from Lagos to JFK, then book another flight from JFK to Nashville like Delta airline, does I need Covid 19 test to pass through JFK for a connecting flight? please I need your responses and advice

3. It is advisable to book Kenya airline from Nigeria to JFK then Delta airline from JFK to Nashville,

There is 6 hrs different from first and second flight
Does covid 19 required to pass through JFK for connecting flight or covid 19 to board Kenya airline.

Thank you all, God bless you.

No you don’t need a Covid-19 test to leave Nigeria and the US doesn’t need a Covid-19 test for entry into the US from Nigeria. However any flights with a stop over in the UK might be an issue due to the new strand of the virus in the UK.

My advice will go to when booking an airline from the u.s.
Southwest airline will be clearly better for you cos they allow u two boxes while u pay for your luggage in delta and also it's cheaper if u book on time.

So sorry to hear this. Kindly consult an expert to guide you in filling your DS-160 very well (I mean very well).
Also try to pray for God to make you avoid the Black guy that interviews to the left.

Small story - On the 23rd of december,
1. he interviewed a twin the whole time it took the white VO to interview and approve 2 masters students and a PHd student.
2. When i entered for my biometric i noticed applicants with the Black VO talks on top of their voice. a lady was practically shouting just so dat he doesnt feel she is mumbling rubbish. Fear cash me 1billion dollars
Pray God makes you avoid him.

Alhamdulillah Robili Allameen.

My VISA was approved this morning at the Abuja Embassy. I will drop my Transcripts soonest..

Alhamdulillah, Glory and Praise be to no one except Allah, The Cherisher, The Provider and The Most-Merciful. I had my interview on morning (December 16) at the Abuja Embassy. Nothing much to say about but it's God's Mercy.

Here we go, my scheduled time was 8:30am but I couldn't do my interview till around after 9 due to long queue and some processes. I ordered a bolt cab and got to the embassy around 7:40am. I was still in the cab, trying to get water in the midst of those hustlers, they came to me trying to disturb with their words. I just told them I'm fine.

Getting to the embassy, I joined the outside queue, we did the first papers screening and asked to go inside. Getting inside, we did the biometrics test (One Black American verified my I20 and passport and a white woman did the biometric test. I thought she's the one to interview me, then I tried to calm myself down. She told me to meet the security), this time i saw the two VO (White man and Black American) attending to the interviewees, then joined the queue for the main deal. When my turn reached, the Black American rejected three people straight before me, I was clueless but only noticed he didn't spend much time with them, during this time the white man still having a good conversing interview with a very young girl going for her Bsc in sport area. I kept praying and tried to calm myself down. They called next, I went to the Black American. Alhamdulillah, It's God's Mercy.

GRE/GMAT: No
TOEFL: No
Scholarship: $2000
Deficits: $21,770
But There is always believe in the Almighty. Here we go again...

VO: Pass me your passport and I20
Me: I passed him the Passport, I20 and the Sevis Receipts. Then I greeted him, Good Morning Sir (he didn't answer perhaps he didn't hear. He just focused on the system. I also focused looking at him and kept praying)

VO: (After like 3 seconds on his system he asked) How did you hear about the school you're going to?
Me: After decided to study my Master degree in the United States, I did my research using some academic websites and I found about 5 schools that I met their requirements. I eventually applied to 2 (WIU and CSU)

VO: After typing for like 10seconds, he asked what do you do?
Me: I work as an Accountant a XYZ company, where I prepare the financial statements, audit the financial statements, give business advices and compute taxes. (Thats exactly what I filled in my DS-160 as work responsibility)

VO: Immediately he asked, since when have you been working with them?
Me: I started working with the company after my Professional exams since July 2019

VO: After typing for like 10 seconds, Are you married?
Me: No, I am single

VO: Have you ever travelled before?
Me: No, I have never

VO: After typing for like 20 seconds, Who is your sponsor?
Me: My Uncle, Mr XX, who is also my mentor is my sponsor (I kept praying and stay focused looking at him even though he didn't look at me for once apart from the first time)

VO: Straight up, he picked the white paper, add my Passport to the ones he had approved then said I will approve your Visa, then returned my documents and gave me the white paper.

No one did this but Allah.

Tips: Please Pray Pray Pray and practice well before your interview, and Pray Pray Pray.
Know every details you filled in your DS-160 form even the dates. Do more practice.
Dress nice and comfortably, If you're going for any Management or business course or Law, pls make sure you dress like one of their students. Try to look at the VO eyes, if he/she looks at you back put on smiles pls (that white man likes that here in Abuja, that black American is good too, I think he assesses people psychologically).
If you are having your interview in Abuja here and perhaps still going to be interviewed my these two men, note this, the white man likes conversation pls make it easy for him with big smiles. And the black man like straight words please don't say what he didn't ask unless you know they are key words.

Fairheart, I DM you and you responded immediately like you do to others. May Almighty grant you more goodness and continue to bless you. You are always available to help even when you felt Ill. No, You are a Man brother, God bless you.

Benita, Strong woman. May Almighty stay with you always and bestow you His mercy. You are always there to help me. You put more effort even after getting your Visa approved a month ago. God bless you.

Thanks everyone. Sorry, it's coming late..

Start your search here - https://www.lsac.org/discover-law/types-law-programs

If you want to practice law in the US, you will need more than a masters degree in law. You'll need to definitely go to law school but you can do that after your masters.

Thank you so much.
I'm on it.

Okay Sir.

I did industrial Mathematics in my first degree, graduated with cgpa of 4.45/5.00, I'm yet to write GRE, my proposed course for MSc. is Data Science.

Thank you.

Good. You have a great Cgpa. Please follow these steps.

1. Try evaluating your transcript with WES to 4.0 scale.

2. Search on Google or usnews for schools that offer data science msc in the United States.

3. Check if the schools wave GRE or not.

4. Look for the scholarship or funding or Graduate assistance menu/application on the websites and check the requirements to see if you meet up. Some schools require separate application for funding while some Auto-decide based on your admission profile.

5. As an addition to option 4, you can further email the graduate or program coordinator to enquire about funding as few schools don't publish funding on thier websites.

All the best bro.

Cost of attendance for MBA in my school is about 15k.

If you won't be taking any pre-requisite at masters level, you will be taking a total of 10 to 12 courses (30 to 36 credit hours) depending on your MBA concentration.

On the average, you will spend like 5, 800 per semester for tuition alone on three courses ( 9credits) in fall and spring while summer fees are always cheaper.

The summary sha, you will spend like 20k usd for the ENTIRE PROGRAM. This is for tuition and fees alone which exclude living expenses.

U prepared smart and hard, hence your earning the VISA.

Your deficit would have put the Black VO off if you didn't back it up with a sponsor that his business is genuine even tho i know some people that got theirs approved using uncles with no genuine business and real bank statement.

Also you have experience working in the professional field.

Congrats again

Hello guys, glad to be in part 15, lemme open the floor for questions.

1. My school is in Missouri but I already booked a flight to JFK from Lagos. Hope it wnt cause an issue, flights to JFK(215k airmaroc) were cheaper than flights to STL in missouri( about 600k on delta). I also intend to stay in New York for a few days with a mentor before going to missouri.

2. Also I know have already booked the airmaroc flight but is their services okay or at least moderate?

3. What is the range of amt of money I can bring in as a student .. I was advised 1k to 2k

4. Please what's the cheapest way to get to Missouri from newyork? Bus, flight, or train? I intend to travel to missouri after spending 3 to 5 days in NYC.

5. Any suggestion of a nice place to visit while in new york for a few days. .. my birthday would be two days after arrival

6. Also what are the likely questions I could be asked at the POE and should I bring a bank statement along. ?

Thanks, I love you all.

I also applied for Missouri but deferred till Fall semester. How was your visa interview?

You mean you've made a Sevis fee payment and would like to transfer it to someone who hasn't made the payment yet. It's not possible, it can't be done.

Sevis fee is valid for a year and even if you wish to apply to a different school for fall, it can be transfered to the new school Sevis ID. So if it's still within a year, you have nothing to worry about

It is 100% possible, the SEVIS fee is still valid but it won't be valid by the time I'll be reapplying for Visa as it would be more than a year by then so it would be valid for anybody trying to pay for Spring and Summer session.

Wow. I didn't know one could do it this way, transferring your Sevis payment to another applicant. I thought your profile would have been linked to it already.
