To warn people, particularly responsible females. Such would have been so traumatising for the lady as she could even feel followed after leaving the hotel, since the hotel has her personal details.

Even as a male, I will avoid such hotel, until their management make a public statement on how they decisively dealt with the crazy pervert in order to prove that they are not together with him in it for increased patronage.
