This is not mere offence but premeditated evil the proper sentence should be what the rapist would have been handed multiply by 3.

Rape is most underreported crime worldwide and false rape accusation is very rare. In some cases , perpetrators secretly paid huge amount of money to settle cases out of court

I agree with her. Those false rape accusers don't know what they do to the people they falsely accuse. They practically ruin the mens lives, cos nothing will ever be the same after that. A lot of people that saw the accusation might never read the apology, and they would go on believing the men are rapists. Even the people that see the apology might not believe it, and choose to believe the initial accusation. It's a stigma that stays with the falsely accused for life. That's heavy.

Knowing that one may possibly end up in jail for 'false' accusation, the victims might become skeptical of their victory if their raper is an influential person—A person who can rig the case,thereby subjecting the voiceless victims to jail terms.


But whichever way,a court action seems fair for those people who think laying false claims of rape has become the new method of gripping fame.
