CBN has failed in its responsibility and functions to checkmate the excesses of this loans company most especially sokoloan.

Sokoloan is the worst out of them all.

Followed by cashlion.

Which CBN?

Do you know the kind of terms and agreements Buhari signed to obtain Chinese loans??

It's wrong to borrow to feed especially if you are not working.... Some borrow and forget that they are even owing
As in eh.. Some even borrow to do wedding.. And I keep asking.. If one borrows to do things like that. How would the marriage be sustained..
It is well... On facebook.. Rant hq extension.. There is a trend now.. Called debtors challenge...people are posting pictures and details of persons owing them.. And it fortified my belief..dont lend what you can't forgo no matter who the person is..

Bros pay up your debt. Nigerians are very terrible set of people. Sometimes I don't blame these companies at all. You Nigerians are the reason Nigeria isn't moving forward and not the politicians. Sokoloan always go hard because they know Nigerians will never coporate without iron hand. There's another loan company called branch. I know of a dude owing them almost 100k since last year. The funniest thing is that branch is not even adding interest every month, it's still the amount he ought to pay back at due date one year ago. Still to pay na war. Anytime branch calls, he cuts the call, he ignores their plea on text message that he should repay. Make branch learn work from sokoloan.

Remember these companies are private businesses trying to make life better for you as a Nigerian. Pls pay up

Perhaps bt they shud follow proper steps. I know there are terrible, difficult and even fraudulent borrowers bt u don’t generalize every borrower who failed to pay b4 the due date that way.

Even banks classify the customers and borrowers by interacting and knowing them and use various standards for different customers as the case maybe. This particular guys case wasn’t handled well at all and over 5k bt I understand they give a lot of small loans so it’s amounts to a lot bt they are collecting high interest rates also. Follow the professional steps b4 u anyhow.
Renmoney that followed the professional steps is no where to be found. Nigerians ran the company to the ground. I guess Sokoloan doesnt want the same story

one of them used her personal number to call me and be begging me to pay even if na half.
i asked her about my image they've dented?
she said nothing
then I told her frankly that I will never pay a dime to them
that my image is priceless.
Meanwhile I've messaged all my contacts to disregard any messages about me that my phone was hacked and a serial blackmailer on the loose.
Hehehehehe they believed me.

Meanwhile the useless sokoloan was still begging and I kuku blocked their numbers and blacklist them

Re: How I Got Badly Disgraced By Sokoloan by correctguy2010: 12:34pm On Dec 29, 2020
If you are putting up any sort of defence for sokoloan, you need to go for proper medical checkup. They've no right whatsoever to send messages to debtors contacts. From all indications they don't even check borrows past records before taking such action. It's better they stop giving out loans to people. From all I have read here, it's obvious their loans are not helpful to people based on the interest and duration.

They should stop giving loans without collateral if they don't have other better ways of recovering their loans. You can't be destroying people's image because they owe you.

The highest they should have done was to call the guarantors and not calling the whole contacts on the phone

My question is how did they get access to all the guy’s contact?

Had it been the route you guys take in trying to retrieve your money is right, no one will complain, you give grace period and it has come and gone, what about legal route?
D you know that by defaming ones character is braking a law?
Have you ever seen banks employing such unethical and illegal means to compare customers to pay their debt?

SOKO(NUPE LANGUAGE).

#AVOIDSOKOLOAN.
No one is defaming no one. You refuse to pay your loan means u have a dubious character.
You talk about taking a legal route, not all company's are like banks that can afford to, other companies try to minimise cost and going through that route truncates that aim.

The banks you glorify are worst, they collect collateral, and God help you when you don't pay up your loan on time.

To each his own, like I said, borrow if you're sure you can pay back. If not, you take what you see.

Take care.

Dear Sokoloan, I will be in my best behaviour while posting this.

I applied for a loan a month back which I didn't repay in time. I got a call from an extremely rude official 5 days after I received the loan. She informed me that payment is due and I should do that immediately. I tried to be friendly but she wasn't. I asked if I could pay part but she arrogantly declined.
The next day I got a call from her again with insults this time. I told her she's not professional with her work and that made her worse. She threatened to disgrace me in the worst way ever (via SMS). My phone got stolen that night. A day after she sent the most devastating message ever to all my contacts. How she got access to them still surprises me. In her message, she said I'm a wanted criminal on the run with company funds. I got tons of messages on Facebook and missed calls and messages on my other line - my former employers, course mates, lecturers, neighbors, family, besties, other influential people. I was really mad! I had over 300 contacts for Christ sake. I called her immediately to send a convincing message to my contacts. She was adamant and continued with her insult, I fired back not minding her age. I threatened to take the case to court, but I was financially down at that moment. My sister called her immediately she got one of her text and they ended up insulting eachother. I called her some days after, she was a bit calm, and I asked if she would resend another SMS and make everything transparent to my contacts. She said once the payment is complete we'd discuss that. When the payment was deducted automatically from my account, I called the number, but the new user doesn't seem to know me. She requested for my login number I gave her but she said she can't access my account. Up till now. I think I've been too calm with them and I am taking it up now.

The worse part of it is I lost most of my contacts which means I may not be able to clarify myself. This is the worst thing ever to happen to someone.

I've mailed them concerning the issue and I'm yet to get feedback.

bro shey u have paid? Get the terms and conditions read through check the part that talks about failure to pay loan, read and understand. Bro sue their broke ass. Palm credit is too legit. I once borrowed 15k and I needed to pay from my Eco Bank but service was bad I couldn't transfer to my UBA which is automatically connected to Palm Credit. They sent a message to remind me to pay. I was just lackadaisical about paying but I knew definitely I will pay. 5k was sent to my UBA them collect am sharperly remaining 11k but notwithstanding I sent the money as I got network to my UBA after over 60hrs no issues I paid no disgrace just normal reminder. For that I give them 6 Stars. Dont stress urself about those Soko bastards. They don't have guts to run a company. Sorry but ensure they tender apology on national daily and send a correction message to ur contacts

It's always good to check and double facts and experience from people who have done business with any one or organization before getting involved with them.
Yours was even good because the loans was due and you didn't meet up on time. Mine was 5hours above the due date and even when I was in the bank doing the transaction they have already sent malicious messages to my contacts say that I was a wanted criminal who took huge loans and ran away.
I know of guy who also lost a job opportunity because of the message they sent to the man who was supposed to interview the guy. They are pathetic lots.
