What! Yay!!!!!!. Id include this in my farming business as soon as it scales the hurdles of passage. Speedy passage abeg. Another export potentials for Nigerians. Gov. Akeredolu of ondo state would jump up reading this news.

But the use must be highly regulated. It can cure lots of ailments but we do abuse it here. That's my worry

They should legalize it
We have to diversify our economy
We have to create jobs for entrepreneurs.

If weed is legalize I know how to make weed candy and snacks.

You don't necessarily have to smoke it, smoking is harmful.

Take weed candy and snacks you will still feel good and irie.

I will train many youths how to make safe weed candy free of charge, but now that weed is criminalized I can't even tell anyone that I know how to make those things talk more of train people.
hello I bake brownies can I get your contact so we could share ideas

Nigeria is already suffering from many ills aside political misgovernance(violent crimes, child molestation, domestic abuses, insurgency, prostitution etc) that are compounded by economic depression, worsening mental state, increasing frustration & resort to substance abuse (which also include drugs) and gun-running.

Even regulatory agencies like NAFDAC, NSCDC,Customs,
etc in our airports, rail stations, borders & within are finding it increasingly difficult to exert control let alone stem the tide of illicit drug abuse.So why cant the HOR part of NASS legislate on how to reduce cost of governance by;

-Severely cutting on their over-bloated pay or merging into a unicameral legislation,
-Reducing the numbers of govt MDAs witj multiplicity of functions consuming the budget.
-Proscribing the death sentencing for convicted corruption either by "harikira" ,hanging, electrocution, or firing squad among many?

Instead they are rather wanting to be anti-people in compounding the woes on ground by choosing to legalize Marijuana of all things? This is an explosive disaster waiting.

Don't let anybody deceive you , you have a very big problem chai who du you like this
You are just misusing the privilege of stupidity
Re: Reps To Legalise Use, Sale Of Cannabis In Nigeria by seunmsg(m): 12:30pm On Dec 30, 2020
To be honest, the legalization of cannabis is long overdue. The way our youths use and abuse the substance is too much. Legalization would afford the government the opportunity to regulate its usage and even help to create jobs and generate revenue.

Apart from the abuse of weed which you just highlighted as its uses, its a source of cure for several ailments. Are you aware weeds are added to hair treatment creams? This is a multi billion dollar investment coming. Our land in the south is super good for its growth

It is a useless bill. Medicinal marijuana is a drug only every licensed Pharmacist can dispense, store, compound and package it for wholesome and ethical use just like opiods.

It is an attempt to amend the current law through the back door and make it look like a medical doctor can now regulate medicinal marijuana. The house should reject it.

There is no training that makes a medical doctor more superior to prescribe it more than a dentist or Physiothrrapist or Clinical Psychologist so you don't need a medical doctor-only prescription for medicinal marijuana.

This country sef with lawmakers with very poor understanding of technical areas like this.
Medicinal marijuana does not need any special law! They need to read or ask questions from professionals in the sector before adding to the menace of drug abuse and already chaotic drug distribution system.

Abuse?? Regulate?? ...while we are at it.. why don’t we add cocaine to the list of legalized substances..
U people like sounding smart...but u forget u are in a nation a million light years behind the west..

We can’t even regulate the sale of positinor 2, Valium, lexotan, alcohol, tramadol....

All we know how to do is copy without having necessary template in place....anyways...the Muslims are more in power, so I don’t see this bill flying any where....they willl squash the bill with their religious hypocrisy.....a win-win situation..

Hope they don't succeed; otherwise Nigeria is bound to face more spike in drug induced crime among our vulnerable youths.
