Ufot Ekaette was also a Niger Delta minister. In fact he was the first Niger Delta minister. In the over 13 years that ministry has existed only Godsday Orubebe was minister. As Ijaw people we never complained. When my home state, Rivers was short changed by the same Akpabio we didn't make noise. If Akwa Ibom people should let Akpabio be, this is between us and Akpabio.

The position is meant for Bayelsa. Akpabio can't bring his Akwa Ibom kinsman to replace the Bayelsa appointee. More so he is doing that illegally. He should field for a candidate from Bayelsa and follow due process.
