2010 G37! started with a camshaft and crankshaft sensor related problems. Those have been changed now but the car is stuck with a p0011, hence it won’t rev past 3000 rpm

Hello gurus in the house, I have a 2000 Nissan maxima that makes a funny cranky noise when I accelerate between 1500 to 2000 rpm. Unfortunately no check engine light so I will like to know what could be the cause cos I dont want the engine to spoil cos of this.

Sounds like the timing chain. When last did you carry out an oil change and what type of oil do you use? You can also check the oil level.

I change the oil every 3000 miles though I use SAE40 heavy duty oil from forte oil

If it takes you 6 months to clock 3000miles, you might need to consider oil changes every 3 months if you can afford it. Always check oil levels and you should be fine.
