Ok, I got interested in this... So here's my take: I promise it's going to be short.



Some will say you've made a lifetime mistake and there's no escape right now... Me? I say there's an escape route. Matter-of-factly, --many: run away, strangle the child to death, sell the child, etc... if you want freedom. Oh wait... We're in the age of MORALITY, and you might not like to pay with your life --or risk being seen as irresponsible. If that's the case with you, then take this route:


First, you'll have to accept these things:
1. That you've brought a life to earth.

2. You'll spend millions on that kid if you want that child to get a good life someday (health, clothing, feeding, school, upkeep, --bills --for many many years).

3. Your wife may turn that kid against you (almost all wives do this things even unintentional --its the default case--even my mom did this)

4. The kid will give you nothing but joy in the very early years, but as time goes on, its gonna be more pains --emotionally, financially (especially if your income is average --or below), etc... Be prepared.


With those 4 points above, I just hope you the mother doesn't ends up cheating in the end -- after all those sacrifices. Also, about your wife (if you get married) turning your kids against you... you can do something about that: use wisdom and avoid your wife pushing you to become the evil dad. Discipline your kid with wisdom. Hold your kid often (physical contact. Look in their eyes). Wives turn their husband from being nice to their kids by pampering the kids in a way that seems excessive and disgusts the husband --making him turn into an unsympathetic hardass ...so reverse that psychology by doing most of the pampering! Your wife will get disgusted and automatically will become the harder one on the kid!


Warning!!
If your kid is a girl, do everything manly possible to make your relationship is even stronger in her teenage years! Girls at that age can easily trust their dads (contrary to what people think) and are easily mesmerized that they'll tell you (dad) everything, even about the guy they like --depending on how close you are to them! After capturing her, you then change whatever you feel will lead her the the wrong path in your grand wisdom! Thank me later. *wink*



So, what authority do I have to drop advise on marriage and the kid stuff?
Right from my teenage years, my friends have always been men. Really matured men --family men. I didn't find wisdom in things I discussed my age group!


If I've learnt anything from my many old men friends, its how miserable marriage and kids have made most most of them! You'll be shocked How many have categorically told me this!


Anyways, Congrats man... I know it's most unlikely that the whole me on this thread will congratulate a guy for bringing forth a kid but lets face it: Kids are so cuuute! I love them --especially those ones 1year - 4years! Each time I go to my older brother's place for a visit, my niece (about 2 years)... When she jumps on me, such innocence in her smile and laughter, and she wraps those kid arms around my neck --such gaiety if everything she does --and of course, that baby smell!! Mhen... feels so good! But then I remind myself: candy is sweet but not a truck load of it...and all adorable puppies won't remain like that for even one tenth of their life!


My older brother is not married to my niece's mother yet. My niece is so cute but I see through. She's just a tool my brother's girlfriend used to glue him to herself (fear women of over 30 years) which reinforces my idea of kids mostly being tools used by women to project a relationship for a lifetime of gains for themselves and their kids. --my brother's girlfriend has succeeded in capturing him 80%.


So, my advice to you?
1. Don't add more kids to the one you already have! I repeat. I can't overstate this. Or wait... Are they already more?

Your wife will do everything WOMANLY possible to make you add to the numbers: you'll have to do everything MANLY possible to avoid it. She will open the matter's wrapper waaaa and take it to counselors, church, your family, hers, babalawo infact, everywhere possible --if she wants more kids --however, you shouldn't succumb...unless your instincts overcome your logical reasoning at some point and you decide to add more, then fine! --but remember, you ain't a farmer, or are you rearing kids?


P.S: ...and to every guy here (who claims that he wants to enjoy his life) and still dream of kids? I have strong reasons believe that your desire is instinctive and not calculated.

Oh wait! One more thing... You could do a paternity test and if it comes out negative, you dump the kid and the mother's Sorry ass without staining your conscience!

If the kid (kids?) is/are yours. It's totally fine. Someone said "life is what happens while we're busy making plans for the future." Move on with life. With your knowledge of the redpill, you'll be more prepared for disappointments --which indeed, will make you a happier man.

These, perhaps ,is the bitterest of all the pills.
I struggled badly to come to term with that line earlier on, in these journey,not until I compared that line of thought to the reality unfolding before my eyes, which I was too blind to see, in the past, on a daily basis.

I have witnessed a guy put his life on the line on a daily basis and engage in menial jobs to train his girlfriend in school, only for him to be dropped like a hot potato for a guy doing better than him, when the lady was done with her studies.
Not to mention thousands of similar stories we read virtually on a daily basis in the internet.
You provide all she needs and don't even want, just so to make her happy, at the end, most cases, your ass will be left with stupid reasons why it can no longer work out between you too.
The naive guy will be there begging and weeping that she should give his silly ass one more chance to make things right, without understanding the game on play ,in the background.
It's common knowledge that people should appreciate the sacrifices others makes for them, but not in these game.

Know these, and know peace, so you be careful the sacrifices you make, especially when dealing with women, because most cases, when they are done against your interest and self, you will live to regret them.

Let's assume the woman's story is accurate (something I don't do due to fact that women are usually shameless and bold liars, and they are good engineers of a spurious narrative and impression). If your husband has been financially incapable and always made excuses for money, why decide to teach him a "lesson" with your daughter's health at stake? Why not do it with something like the PHCN bill (refuse to pay that bill and let the heat reach everyone so you can teach him a lesson) ? Why put your daughter's health at stake over #25,000 when you have #3.6M and you can simply leave the marriage (if she had had enough with her husband) and care for your own daughter by yourself?

Not only is she petty, she is also trying to shift blame when she could have done better; this shows she has no remorse and doesn't desire to be a better human in future. Throughout your life, have you ever met any loving parent (especially men) who would have #3.6M yet put his/her daughter's life at risk over #25,000 just to teach their spouse a "lesson" ? Don't you see how incredibly stupid, petty, and heartless that is? The daughter had been convulsive for two days, two fùcking days.

For those who would say "but the money [#3.6M] might not be her money," they should have it in mind that if that were the case, she would have mentioned it without hesitation and used it as an excuse, trust women.

All I see is dumb attribution of blame to the man:
1) It was okay to put my daughter's life at risk in order to teach my husband a "lesson" BECAUSE my husband is financially incapable and always make excuses. [It's the husband's fault].
2) It's not my fault that my daughter died BECAUSE I am not the one that is supposed to provide. [It's the husband's fault for not providing].

What could she have suffered in the husband's hands for her to make such heartless and stupid decision? I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that the husband happened to be a great provider in the past and he recently hit hard times; or that the story is not what it seems. I personally know a senior colleague of my mum who has money but the husband is broke and struggling; the woman is stingy like madt. If her children meet her for anything, she will tell them to go and meet their father. She would rather see the family struggle than help out, even her kids. It took my mum's intervention to force her to open her stingy hands to provide for her daughter who was living hand to mouth in the university while mum was earning big. What do you think the story of woman would be? Would it be any different from what CAPSLOCKED shared? There was even a story on nairaland about a woman who fell sick and instructed her sister to hide her money in case the husband, who was running helter skelter to pay her hospital bills, finds it. I am not saying all women are like this, but most are.

In a bid to show you are fair and a moral champion, don't make excuses or downplay any harsh truth about women in order to prove you are not a woman hater or misogynist. No one cares bro, drop the moral badge and accept the red pill as you see it. If not, when the red pill shows you certain devilish aspects of women, you will ignore it and think it is hatred or misogyny towards women. The truth don't have to be the way you want. If it happens that the truth says "the kind of specimen A are heartless, brutal and remorseless in their manipulation", you must accept and not ignore it because you don't want to be a misogynist or a moral defaulter. It's just like ignoring the truth that many Ashkenazi Jews have a higher IQ than Africans because you don't want to be a racist.

Let me drop this harsh truth that many might not come to grasp in their lifetime: you can either love or understand women, you cannot do both. This is pure fact. It doesn't mean you should hate them, just approach women with indifference and let you association with them be based on necessity and what you can benefit from them. Forget about friendship with women.
