Not really, if men stop giving stuff out of ulterior motives then everything about relationship will be fine. This is the main cause of the "Angry white knights on Nairaland"(redpills). They all started out as white knights, giving women gift until they where left heart broken. and now they seek vengance.

But for real men, we don't give things out of ulterior motives. We give it and let it go. If we want something then we ask for it.
