That shows the level of poverty in some part of the country.

You are right. The last time I visited my Village in Abia during Christmas, I weep for my People. We are quick to come online and CHEST BEAT, while our Region remains the most backward.

This is Abia state for you - one of the most underdeveloped states in the whole world.
A state where people actively support and promote evil. You can tell by the kind of criminals they keep electing each time as governors.

What state are you from? This is so I can know how to address your sickness.

Hoodlums in Abia uproot and vandalize rail lines passing through their communities to sell as scrap metal.

This is national sabotage that must be investigated and the perpetrators arrested.

No sane human will be part of this.

As bad as this is, please don't turn this to abia bashing... overhead Bridge Banisters and streetlight cables are been vandalized in Lagos and elsewhere...that's why we have NSCDC to checkmate things as these...turns out NSCDC isn't doing their job

Amaechi come and carry your brothers. Since you have not made trains to run there.

Though these are narrow gauge rails, different from the Lagos-Ibadan design, it is still sabotage.

Are you saying Aboki can freely take those Railway line Irons within Abia Communities, with no resistance from Easterners? This proofs what I've always said here. THE NORTH OWN THE EAST AND EVERYTHING IN IT. grin grin grin grin

And these criminals will be crying that there is no federal government present in their region.
Why are these people full of criminal minds like this?
90% of Nigerian criminals are from that side of the country, the land of the risen crime.
Federal government should not waste their resources in trying to develop that potopoto region, because these people will vandalize everything and sold as scrap.
No wonder Abia state is backward.

even if it is the old one,why should they vandalize it and sold as scrap. This same old railways line pass through my village and everything is still intact. If you dare carry even a stone from that railway line, the community will arrest you and handover to the police.

You said it passed through your village, well these ones are in bushes and forest.. if the rails were working, I dont think anyone would steal them.
