last time I went to Enugu, an Okada man who carried me was telling me how it happens also at Agbani , not far from the police station. I was devastated. How do we develop with this attitude?

This is the news that detractors want to sell... to make this vandalism an abia thing while there is overwhelming evidence that even worse is done is other parts of the country

You won't hear news of the newly constructed REGIONAL SLOT HEADQUARTERS that recently took place in Umuahia recently. Sometimes I suspect the OP is anti-abia in everything.

See development taking place in Umuahia...

SLOT REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS IN 1, OHAFIA STREET, UMIAHIA

You are not far from the truth. This round thick cover that they usually use to cover gutter access way, they abokiis have pulled out many in PH roads. There was a time the governor even ask citizens to raise alarm if any see them trying to remove them

This is hand work of aboki people...Dem no dey use eye see iron....When we caught one in my area some months ago trying to steal someone's gen set,cos he thought no one was home..We beat the living daylight outta him(i personally added some very powerful punches to his accursed face)and handed the thief to the cops..

That's the work of aboki, even in Portharcourt they uproot rods along the express road. Maybe they learnt it from them that's if it's not aboki that is doing that one at Isikwuato.

It seems Aboki must have uprooted that bigoted brain of yours for that foolish statement; perhaps you could also explain why they have not been doing same in the north (even in the light of extreme poverty) and apparently only doing so in the south.

Its about time you ppl grow up and start taking responsibility for your own actions - including your notoriety for crime.

imagine the rant & criticism that will flood this thread if this happened in other part of the country!

It is everywhere in Nigeria. I was driving to the airport last year November, the day they were having marathon in Lagos and the driver took us through some bridges and my goodness the iron bridge protectors were nowhere to be found. Curiously I asked the driver. He said, vandals did cut it off and sold them.

That day I lost hope in the country.

Nigerians are the problems of Nigeria.

the tracks have been abandoned for life bro. I don't see how it could cause any accident when it's already abandoned and unfit for use by any modern, dual gauge trains. Even most of the new tracks are built beside the abandoned ones while some of those new tracks faced completely different directions and routes. Had those guys destroyed the new rail lines I'd have cursed them and named them enemy of state. There's nothing bad in what they did. When next I visit our farm, I'd take some pictures of those old and abandoned tracks and share with you. One passed by our farm. Those thick metals have been corroding already while some had been cut into pieces by weather conditions over the years.
Now I get your point. Thanks for explaining
