LOTS OF CHRISTIANS COULD HAVE HELPED HIM, BUT THEY WORRY ABOUT THEIR OWN LIVES. IT'S HARD TO TRUST YOU GUYS AND THE BEST THING IS TO AVOID YOU GUYS BEFORE YOU GUYS START THE VIOLENCE YOU ARE (NOT ALL) KNOWN FOR. CAN'T BLAME THEM FOR BEING SECURITY CONSCIOUS. SORRY BRO, BUT YOU BEING A FULANI GAVE THEM A CAUSE TO WORRY AND THEY JUST HAD TO LET YOU GO PEACEFULLY. THANK GOD THEY DIDN'T HURT YOU, BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE IF SOME MUSLIMS WOULD HAVE LET SOME CHRISTIANS GO PEACEFULLY IF IT WAS THE OTHER WAY ROUND.

Op, do not blame the churches. I have never heard of a fulani christain, so if i were the one, i would supect u as a spy.
The guy just didnt convert on his own. pastors, church elders etc must have been involved. They should have given him letters with verifiable phone numbers.
All in all, though i don't believe in God, but I can bet that it is better to be a christain than a muslim.

2..hisbah in the north are meant only for the poor..
3...its good to travel and get more exposed, thats the reason why Nigerins living abroad are less religious than us here..
4..religion in nigeria is still holding us in the shackles of dogmatism..

Dear igbo mod
When your people insult and castigate my tribe I don't complain or even report cos I know that the moderators would
never do anything about that.

Why is nairaland making it normal to stereotype and castigate the whole of Northern Nigeria but will never tolerate that against the East??

Dear seun, let's assume you have strong hatred for the north.

Don't you know we have thousands of Christians and Atheist here in the north?

We have thousands of Northerners here on Nairaland who are mostly silent readers.

They don't complain or insult back doesn't mean that they are not here.

This igbo mod has been following me deleting my comments that criticize the east.

I sometimes complain but nothing is being done about that.

Now he decided to ban and silent me for absolutely no reason.

Seun nairaland is supposed to carry ever tribe, region, religion along.

Not only the the north... Other regions and tribes get attacked too.

So on Nairaland only the Igbos have the monopoly of bigotry and tribalism.

I can never be silenced!! I will never stop standing tall for my region.

My only crime is defending the north against stereotypes from people who their only aim is to paint her black, castigate and stereotype her as their region is doing any better.

Seun I need to be unban and publicly be apologized to!!

Cos I am not going to take this ban lightly...!!

We have more than a thousand of Ipob users spreading hate and insulting people with full impunity here on Nairaland.

But the only threat to the Igbo mod is Arrewa.

This is the greatest hight of injustice and hypocrisy!

The only me standing tall for my region is who they want to bring down.

Dear seun, Posterity will have it that Nairaland is Anti Northern Nigeria.

Imagine banning me for defending my Heritage, my region and my people from the Igbos who their only aim is castigate and insult us even for no reason.

Dear seun, The worst investment ever is investing in hate.

It is a total waste of time, energy and resources. It makes the person you hate stronger and eventually destroys you.

if your carry tribalistic comments over this year, you may get banned again.

From one slavery religion to another slavery religion. Who really cursed the black race?
You would hardly see an Asian or Middle Eastern worshipping other people's gods let alone jumping from one foreign religion to another

THE CHALLENGES I FACE AFTER I ACCEPTED CHRIST AS MY PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR.

A Twitter user with the username @Musa_B_Musa shared a story of his journey into Christianity and the attendant challenges. Read below:

On a faithful Sunday I left home early in the morning and went to church without my father's knowledge, not knowing that before I come back home someone has already tell him that he see me in the
.
Church. When I go home, my father locked me in a room for good 4 days without giving me something to eat, it's only my mom that do give me water to drink secretly. There is a day that my father went for a meeting because he is a chief of Fulanis of the local govt where we are
.
Living, then my mom use that opportunity and break the path lock of the room and brought me out. She gave me 1k and told me to use it as a transport to ran away from the place where we are living (Kasuwan Magani) of Kajuru local govt area of Kaduna state.
.
That is how I collected the 1k and left my wife and my daughter there. After I come into Kaduna town I try and approach one church and told them everything but they refuse to accommodate me, I pleaded with them to link me with anyone that can be of help but they ask me
.
To leave. The second church that I approach happened to be the worst, they even says am one of the Fulani herdsmen that are killing people in southern Kaduna, so the securities are after me that is why I want to lie to them so that they should hide me, they told me that
.
Either I should tell them the truth or they should call police to come and arrest me, I told them that the Bible says anything that is yes let it be yes and anything that is no let it be no anything beyond that is coming from the devil after they heard that from me they
.
Allowed me to go, I become devasted, frustrated, and confuse. I don't know what to do again, tears keep on rolling on my face because someone call me and told me that my father beats my mom to comma because is the one that help to run away from the house and my father
.
Have told the security men that anywhere they sees me they should arrest me because am one of the arm robbers and kidnappers that terrorize Abuja/Kaduna express way. Tears keep on rolling on my face and the churches that approach they refuse to listen to me
.
As I keep on going to one church to another, I meet someone that told me that they will not be able to accommodate me but he will help me and give me transport so that I should leave Kaduna completely, and that is how I succeeded in running away from Kaduna state.
.
Even after I ran from Kaduna state none of the churches I approach shows concern because am Fulani by tribe so I keep on passing the night in an uncompleted building, I don't move around because anyone could hot me, am always starving, I didn't get any help is when my story
.
Got circulated on twitter before help start coming. That is where I was able to get a small place where I am managing and start going to site work up to the time that my wife and my daughter reunite with me though I never pass a day or a night since I was born and got married
.
Without having anything to cook until when I become a christian but even with that I have experience a peace of mine that no one can explain....And presently none of my relatives knows my whereabouts

This is just a little of my story.

Thanks and remain bless in Jesus name.

Another strategy.

Fulani Christian indeed.

How old are you that your father locked you up?

Married but your mom still gives you 1k to run?

How then do you carter for your families?

Nonsense and Buhari?

Fabricated nonsense.

The problem of nigeria isn't a religious one but a tribal one, I learnt this from expirence during the year 2000/01 Jos riots. Am a Christian but if war breaks out my loyalties belong to my tribe and kinsmen, just like it would be stupidity to attack your brothers because of their different religion so it is with your tribesmen. You can be the pope for all I care, as long as you're fulani I don't trust you.

The hero of this story is the Mother. Although I suspect she is not a Christian, her actions are truly Christ like. She did not care for her own safety or well being. The love for her child moved her to free him knowing that her own life will be in danger. God bless our mothers!
My prayer is that his father should have this kind of love for his child, who is no longer a minor and is competent to make his own decisions in life.
