ASUU should be very careful, other nations have academic unions and you won't tell me that these countries are fulfilling all their agreements hence harmony in their educational system

Most ASUU members are cultists hence their operations in our universities, but one caution for them is that Nigerian youths cannot be taken for granted again, any attempt by ASUU to disrupt the system will be resisted by #endasuu, they should be guided accordingly

Laughable opinion. The demands of ASUU is below basic requirement in most global and African Universities!

Presently ASUU has called off her strike in good faith. Why not lend your voice to asking the FG to honour their promises in good faith? Or is that too much to ask?

ASUU and FG are playing with the futures of the students. What do the students do? They stay aloof with indifference. The impact will be felt when they graduate at 25 and employers look for prospective employees under 23 with minimum two years experience. Nigeria has the most docile youths in the world usually driven by selfishness.
NANS is a skeleton of itself.

Let them keep rotting away at home while FG continue to play ludo with their lives. The reality will set in after NYSC.

Lecturers under ippis have been paid. Did they work? What makes them more special than the ones not under ippis that the government agreed to pay too?
Your concern should be with buhari and his cohorts that entered into an agreement for the strike to be called off and they'll pay the lecturers only for them to default
Obedience is what is making them, more special than ASUU..

stop making comments if you don't know how the system operates.

FG is wicked and senseless. If IPPIS is implemented with universities payroll, it will affect many universities that are about to kickstart, and the already existing ones will lack lecturers because many schools don't have lecturers for some courses ,and lecturers in LASU for instance, have to go to those schools to take on those courses, they are called adjoin staffs, and the earn 50% of their basic salary of their primary institution. That is why you see lecturers in Lagos, going to universities in Ogun,or Ibadan to teach,or lecturers in uniport going to Anambra or Abia to lecture, it is simply because those schools don't have lecturers in those fields, some universities don't even have professors,or PhD holders,so professors and PhD lecturers from other institution have to cover for them pending when those schools have and raise their own professors and PhD lecturers in those department. That is what IPPIS doesn't cover, and that is why ASUU is kicking against it. If IPPIS is implemented, what happens to those schools, or students in those schools with adjoin lecturers?

Instead of FG to find ways of covering that lapses ,they are busy playing gimmicks instead of sorting it out.

If not for ASUU,public schools will be long dead.

All of you blaming ASUU doesn’t it bother you that this government cannot and can never be trusted with the welfare of its citizens?
They are just good in telling lies and making bogus promises.
Not about this government. even if ASUU has been known for strike since time immemorial. even if all demands are met, they would still go on another strike next year. Bunch of lazy workers

that's a lie, to be sincere with you, IPPIS is a scam platform, they scam you upto 30% of your salary, this is no joke, other civil servants complained initially but cuz they had no strong institution to back them like ASSU is backing lecturers,
they had to get used to it.....

if you are a civil servant just find a way to take a look at your salary before it crosses IPPIS......they will deduct both ur tax then come to your normal salary and deduct over 50k plus for nothing, and the more they deducted ain't going to government accounts but the accounts of the selfish politicians that introduced that scheme, it's like a business to compulsorily scam all civil servants some percentage of their salary every month by evil politicians, they know what they are doing but God will judge them, it pains me to see this country is as corrupt as this...... corruption has eaten deep into the system already.

Sometimes learn to do more research and reading before jumping in to comment na.

ASUU didn’t want IPPIS due to some perceived gaps in the tool, but they’ve never rejected the idea of a tool to audit payments. In fact, they agreed with the FG to provide a home grown solution tailored to their peculiar needs and have long since given their tool to the FG to audit and confirm that it meets requirements.

With the ASUU tool, the FG’s aim of reducing corruption and stopping Ghost payments is still achieved.

Imagine jumping in to do voltron over an issue that has been resolved already.

You have poor knowledge of how university lecturing job works.

You should have even said government should stop paying lecturers when universities are on holiday.
It's people with this kind of mentality that are terrorizing Nigeria today. Learn, they won't learn but when issues arise they will be the first to open their mouth to speak.

You lack knowledge and only love this government.
Get deeper on the payment service and you will understand why they won't enrole.
Just as the told you VAT will be paid by mtn, airtel and co and you say it was the best thing to do, now every call, text, credit borrow/loan are charge and MTN are not complaining.
I hope they won't for DSTV to do pay-per-view or we will be finish.
You're the type Fela refer to suffer and smiling.
