This is 99% of the reasons these professors refused our children to go back to school.

What is wrong in doing the right thing in this country for Krissake?

stop making comments if you don't know how the system operates.

FG is wicked and senseless. If IPPIS is implemented with universities payroll, it will affect many universities that are about to kickstart, and the already existing ones will lack lecturers because many schools don't have lecturers for some courses ,and lecturers in LASU for instance, have to go to those schools to take on those courses, they are called adjoin staffs, and the earn 50% of their basic salary of their primary institution. That is why you see lecturers in Lagos, going to universities in Ogun,or Ibadan to teach,or lecturers in uniport going to Anambra or Abia to lecture, it is simply because those schools don't have lecturers in those fields, some universities don't even have professors,or PhD holders,so professors and PhD lecturers from other institution have to cover for them pending when those schools have and raise their own professors and PhD lecturers in those department. That is what IPPIS doesn't cover, and that is why ASUU is kicking against it. If IPPIS is implemented, what happens to those schools, or students in those schools with adjoin lecturers?

Instead of FG to find ways of covering that lapses ,they are busy playing gimmicks instead of sorting it out.

If not for ASUU,public schools will be long dead.

that is the plan, kill public schools just like the piblic primary and secondary schools are now.

ASUU is a group of very street smart people. Their members needed money to spend for Christmas and end of the year party, thus they cajoled the FG into paying them two month while giving them 7 conditions which they know very well the FG can never fulfilled.

Now, they have a good reason to continue the strike action as one of the conditions given was to resume the strike without any prior notice if the government fails to do what they want.

ASUU 1--- 0 Federal government/ Students

Foolish ASUU, if they go on another strike, they should forget about it.
I don't get it. An agreement was reached b4 suspension of their strike. FG is not keeping to those agreements. Yet you're blaming ASUU?

What do you call this?

study mechanical engineering in a private university and graduate after 5yrs

so stop hating others because u cant achieve what they have now, but work-hard and believe that one day your children can achieve or even u sef grin grin grin

You are clearly a very mischievous fellow... Enablers of evil leaders.. What happened to the FG keeping to simple agreements..

No one will resume on that 18th if salaries are not paid.. Appears the FG, Ngige and Gambari want to be very sad..

I see no reason why ASUU will be demanding for salaries of months they didn’t work..
Are the lecturers considering house rent students are going to pay for without them staying in it,and here they are trying to prolong something that we all thought have been settled
Re: FG Reportedly Fails To Honour Pact With ASUU by bobolaga: 3:16pm On Jan 04, 2021
U see no reasons why ASUU is demanding for huge amount money when our senators are the highest paid in the whole world, till now no increment evident in Nigeria Police salaries, this administration will give you with right hand and retrieved it with left hand, couple with six years inflation in Nigeria. No Nigerian is been paid with Dollars but we use Dollars as an excuses of our inflation, remember that is one of his campaign promise says he will make one Dollar equal to one Naira, as it is stands now Chad and Niger republic enjoy Nigeria economy more than Nigerians.

Isn't the present sitting president not doing the same thing? I am aware of an ongoing university on his behalf. PDP and APC, same old shit, just a different day
post=97699029:

No mind dem o.

There was a time a sitting President and Vice president built themselves private universities.
At a time all Nigeria universities were on strike for nearly a year!
They damn everybody and didn't give a F!
The evil people took this country 100 years back,
Part of what we are still going through as a nation now.

A lecturers job description is beyond what they do within the classrooms.

They are also obligated to do research works, write and publish articles.

Also, some of the lecturers are also students in various universities, running MSc and PhD programs. So the strike affects them too.
