Your views, drives& passion aren't d issue. U made a claim that thru d practice of agriculture, it is "easy to become a millionaire in US dollars in Nigeria than in Canada".

All I asked u to do was to substantiate ur claim and u couldn't. U don't have a farm and u aren't presently engaged in agriculture. U haven't become a dollar millionaire thru agriculture u are only dreaming of becoming one& u are making claims that u can't defend& can't be proved. Ur dreams aren't a fact until u bring to manifestation. Dreams & passion aren't a statement of fact.

If u no any nigerian farmer that became a dollar millionaire in Nigeria & he told u it was easier doing so than being a millionaire in Canada, pls let me no.

What I say is not a about dreams but my own research on how to become a millionaire in US Dollar in Nigeria, in a period of a decade, rather than running to America which I know it will take me up to 3 decade, before I become a millionaire in u.s. dollar.

Now I am not saying that I can't travel to America or Europe, I can only do that based on a course after my course of study I'll return back and implement what I learn, because there is a world of opportunity here for breeding millionaires rather than in Europe or Asia or America, because it's already there is already popularize.

Africa is the last front for breeding millionaires it will take you long before you become a millionaire in Europe or Asia or America

you can only help yourself by going there to learn from them and come back an implement what you have learnt rather than staying back and struggling

How many of the African migrant that went to Europe Asia and America and become a millionaire please can you point out them let me know

Thanks dear, having lived in the North, when you see a female medical doctor, my dear no be from near poor family o, them rich die. These people never visited the kitchen, they would have married since 15years, with a maid, in an extremely beautiful house, with everything they would ever need, they will have cars and drivers to take them to university and back, all medical students are collecting salary, their tuition fee is free, after graduating, they don't suffer to look for any job, they have it already. I know many of them in medical school, specifically Usman danfodio, now tell me why they need to go to Canada?
They already had everything since teenage years, house, cars, marriage, and many things we aspire for as a youth. Ask their father the source of the income and you will see that many of them are just the brother to a governor, councillor, and are in various political offices.
The money that should have circulated the entire country is in the pocket of some people. These people do not struggle like the rest of us, the poor people in the North don't send their female children to schools, not to tall of studying medicine.

I see.. it's always easy for looters and children of looters to stay back and "contribute" to the country they looted from..

People who talk like this have already secured their future and that of their loved ones but they will never tell you.

When my brother was doing NYSC and telling his neighbour he wants to leave the country immediately after NYSC, the neighbour was discouraging him. This neighbour has previously lived in the UK for about 15 years and already has a permanent residency. My brother wouldn't have known if not because of his UK accents. My brother had to ask him one day that why do you have an accent and that was when he opened up about living in the UK for a long time.

My brother was very angry. He was like so you are telling me to stay in this country but you have already secured your own future. Because as a matter of fact, if Nigeria wants to collapse tomorrow, all you have to do is buy flight ticket and run away because you do not need visa. Yet you are discouraging my humble self that is trying to survive.

Listen to all these people at your own risk. They have already secured their future and their children's future. They will run and leave you if Nigeria should scatter today. They will never tell you. They will come here and be talking rubbish.

I didnt say don't help the country oo. At the end of the day, it is our dear country but my dear your life amd future is more important than any country. It is YOU FIRST. Become a permanent residence of a good western country, or better still, become a citizen and then do your best to help the country. If the country refuses to the helped, leave it and have your peace.

That ENDSAR protest has opened my eyes. The rich people in the countries already have dual citizenship. If anything should happen, all of them will run. The people who don't have visa or PR or citizenship will be stuck in Nigeria.

A Nigerian doctor, Fatima has revealed that she turned down an opportunity to move to Canada because she wants to contribute to the growth and development of her country, Igbere TV reports.

While some Nigerians commended her patriotism, others said that she can afford to take such decisions because she is from a rich home.

She is not married and therefore, her parents would NEVER allow her to travel out of the country, which is very common among Hausa/Fulani Muslim girls. Secondly, she only want to trend on social media because she is from a very rich background already and there may be no need to travel to Canada for anything.

Bottom line is to stay in any country that favours you. Nigeria isn't for everyone and definitely Canada isn't for everyone. I still have several clients who are doctors on my list, waiting to relocate to EU and Canada.

Normally, if you're from a wealthy home, there's no reason for you to move abroad cos it's competitive, writing MCCQE and other licencing exams for different professions isn't easy for every professional, so I think it pays her to stay here. Also she's a woman, which means the financial burden of the family isn't on her.

By the way, most women who move to Canada do complain about the loneliness. It's all work, work, work. No Naija men to do shakara for. grin
Lol your last statement cheesy

leave her, she will still come to regret her decision
She won't, is like this quota system Nigerians are talking about maybe u no they understand.
Go to the federal agencies like customs, NNPC, immigration etc the top positions are held by majority of Northerners on their pay row, juicy positions for this agencies are kept for them.
Imagine a young northern of 23-25 years earning what it will a southerner 10 years of experience in the job with little or no experience . The rules in those agencies are manipulated to favour them.
Check mele kyari with the years he started working in nnpc he will have surpass his retirement age or time of service but he's GMD.
Same thing with commissioner of police, buhari extended his stay.
These agencies pay hugely not chicken change especially in the top positions.

I was actually thinking of creating a thread on this.

What exactly do people mean by "stay back or return back to contribute to the country"?

It's easy for this lady as she's a doctor.. she feels content and comfortable even though her wages and living conditions are quite substandard compared to her counterparts in other countries...

she's a typical Nigerian who has the thought process of 'as long as I'm comfortable, everyone else can go to hell' ...

..what about millions of Nigerian youths who studied other courses in uni and haven't been able to get a job? Young people wasting away with no hope for the future..
They should all start businesses right? What businesses if I may ask? Hair dressing, poultry, small chops and farming? The government has no plans for the future of its youths.

Those who believe that it is the citizen's job to fix Nigeria, please what is our government there for? what is their responsibility?
To secure alone to do something is so difficult in this country unlike abroad , Nigeria Nigeria

Northern muslims hardly migrate to a foreign country to stay permanently.. it's very hard to see that happening because they know In Nigeria, the quota system will favor them as compared to western countries...

One thing I am sure is that she is from a wealthy family, so there is no need leaving the country to start again in a foreign land

Quota system no de work now.

When I visited Ghana, I did not experience anything like light off for good 6 months, they're so many opportunities in Ghana if you're skilled.
Security too is also good no cause for alarm.
Nigerians are looking for 24hrs electricity to grow business yet they cannot get it.

I don't blame you as a black man, you are suffering from low self-esteem and inferiority complex that is what most black men suffered from
because you hardly see a white man migrating to Africa to hustle, except some Asian people
most Asian went to Europe and America and learn,, then go back to their country and develop, that is the reason they are heading Africa today but most African migrate and never come back, there rather remain slavery, working menial jobs with their higher degree, doing all sort of work, but never want to come back and develop their own

Is the low self-esteem and inferiority complex is the problem so I presume you are suffering from that, that is why you can't see beyond Asia and Europe and America, you only think that is only when you go there that you make it, I pity your mediocre

The owner of Alibaba went to United States and study and learn and later return back to his country, now he is billionaire in China
But most black African can never have such mentality because they mentality is very low

I pity for any black man who is not smart enough in this 21st century

Yet Ghana used to much WORSE than Nigeria, and Ghanaians used to flock to Nigeria as economic refugees. Same as Rwanda, which was a backward nation mired in genocidal self-destruction not so long ago. Today, these countries are a beacon of economic and social (and in Ghana’s case, also political) progress, showing what Nigerians can achieve if they squarely face their challenges instead of seeking the easy way out.

But you used the expression "a failed nation"... That's totally different. I don't think Nigeria is a failed state, even though things need improvement, but Nigeria cannot be categorised as a failed state.

A failed state is one which has no sovereignty or control over it's territory, so you can't categorise Nigeria as one.
