xProfx: Need improvement? The country needs a total overhaul. No society is perfect The US needs improvement UK needs improvement SA needs improvement Niggeria needs a total overhaul starting from the mindset of the people. Im glad you defined the meaning of a failed state. Looking at your country, does it not fit the bill? The only control the government has is over the docile citizens. To punish and inflict hardship on them for no reason. The country has no control over its territory, no control over security, no control over its economy,..... what are we saying. Name one sector that works please. Apart from maybe the banking sector. Name one sector in the hands of Nigerians that works. I'll wait |

Jaqenhghar: You seem not to understand what territorial integrity entails... It's all about political independence and not a systemic problem like you are mentioning. We do have a systems issue in Nigeria, a lot of sectors arent doing well, but do we have a government? Yes, do we have armed forces? Yes, do we have customs and immigration at our borders and airports? Yes. Do we cast our votes, rigging or no rigging? Yes! These are the fundamentals that make up a sovereign nation. The problem of infrastructure and lack of political will is another thing entirely. Mind you, I am only writing from the academic point of view. I totally understand your sentiments as a Nigerian but we have to be clear about certain terminologies so we don't say A when we're trying to say B. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Molahnelson: With everything u have said, "u still haven't been able to tell me how it is easier to be a dollar millionaire in nigeria thru agriculture than it is for a migrant to be a dollar millionaire in Canada". U still haven't been able to name one nigerian dollar millionaire in Nigeria who became a millionaire thru agriculture & who tried being a millionaire in Canada at d same time. Ur write up is void of facts and evidence. There's nothing in ur write up that substantiates ur claims. U have no personal experience to back up ur claims & u don't have a single reference anywhere to substantiate anything u have said. Ur claims are just wishful thinking at best dreams. When u have verifiable facts based on ur own personal experience or several instances of individuals who have achieved dollar millionaire status thru agriculture, then u can tantalize us with ur theory that "it is easier to be a dollar millionaire in nigeria thru agriculture than it is for a migrant to be a dollar millionaire in Canada". |

It's easier for her here, licencing to practice medicine in Canada alone can make you run mad, most doctors that move over there end up doing other jobs. Moreover, she seems extremely comfortable here so why the hussle?? |

Brika: Work in Canada as what..if to work as Dr you are are fat lying liar..and Canada system hardly give immigrant Jobs before immigrating in 99.9% of the case..Also Canada does not give immigrant Doctors from Nigeria Doctor Job in Canada.I speak as one who know the system and lived here for years. I smell lies..I perceive she want to catch cruise to belittle those who are in Canada or hustling to make it over there like that Muyiwa guy whose story went viral on his relocation to Canada. How much do you even earn as doctor in Nigeria compared to the basic pay of even a regular worker in Canada..Don't let us go there..who dash monkey banana..who wan give you Dr Job in Canada from Africa or Nigeria...Nurse Job sef you will not see if you don't train again in the system from the scratch. |

xProfx:Oga. In case you haven't noticed, we are not in an academic envirinment. Let me break it down Let's say a man has a heart but the heart fails to pump blood. Will the man not die When he dies will you say " He is alive but his heart is not pumping blood" or simply say " he is dead"? |

Hahjascho: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CphQ6IhWFKA See what people are doing in Nigeria. Be it East, West, North or South, progress and growth. Left alone by foreign interference, Nigeria will be the greatest place in Africa. Actually, right now, I would rate only South Africa, Morroco and Algeria as possibly better. My fervent wish for those leaving Nigeria and hurling back insults at the country and people is that they never return to Nigeria. I wish they will discard their Nigerian passports and never mention Nigeria again. The work of Nigerians interested in building Nigeria will be much easier without having to deal with the consequences of the constant negative harping of such individuals. Since Nigeria is such a nightmare for them, they should seek therapy and forget Nigeria; after all, Canada has heavenly health services, including psychiatry. Be a Canadian and concentrate on Canadian issues. No nation is perfect including Canada and since cussing helps solve issues, according to some, I’m sure there are negative things about Canada for which insulting Canada daily will bring about and even better Canada. 1 Like |
