Hello Oyibo4real,

I think there's need to still write a letter of sponsorship becuase it's a joint account which means your spouse's consent is required and you need to show that he is in support of your study plans. This also serves as home tie.
This is my thinking oh and that's what I did, I attached all documents and pictures to prove that we're married e.g. affidavit of change of name, newspaper publication and our marriage certificate. Apart from the letter of sponsorship, I didn't do any other declaration in that regard. Although, it wasn't just joint account that I used, his personal accounts and investments too were presented.

It will end in praise for us all...

For POF, I merged their Nigerian and foreign bank accounts. I uploaded a generated mybankstatement codes and passwords for the Nigerian bank accounts. Luckily their banks are listed as banks that generate mybankstatement codes.

I also uploaded their foreign bank accounts.

I may not tell you exactly the amount but I can confirm it is over the required 30,000CAD for NSE. I guess that's why they didn't request for it and I also uploaded for Nigerian banks.

I hope this is clarifying enough.

All the best.

Oh, so you generated mybankstatement right away... Cool..

I think I'll do Ielts, submit the result with my application, then send d mybank statement as well... With this, they should not ask for any other doc other than to just send me a mail that my application will be processed NSE

Hello Deommanuel,

You're right. Updating the new DLI's number and/or student number is done through the Gckey online account. The information on how to begin is clearly visible. Lastly, there is no need raising a CSC for this purpose.

Cheers!

Thank You for responding Boss

Hello Gurus in the house.

It's a month now after medical was passed and still no updates.

Background check has been under processing for 1 month today.

Do i need to do anything like raise a webform or send a mail?

Thank you

Sorry for responding late. You husband needs to write a letter of support stating the account belongs to both of you and he is fully in support of your plans. Since it is a joint account, both of you need to sign his letter of support

Awwn, just seeing this, thank you so much, we'll do exactly that.

Hello,
From what I can see here, they have not started reviewing your eligibility. That means you will have to be patient. Although things are becoming faster these days. Pray that your eligibility starts in few days and you get your approval. You can send webforms as well like a week interval that is if your application has passed normal processing time. If your application is still within normal processing times, send webforms sparingly

Hello AlexB300,

3M Naira is insufficient. 3M is what you need for 1 year upkeep alone (you must show this 10,000 cad for upkeep when applying for the visa). That is excluding your tuition.

Cheers

Thank you for the response.

The wait is a bit frustrating... Have a UK admission for Jan 21 which I would likely have to defer while I wait to see if Canada is successful. Almost gave up on Canada after the first refusal, but was told to give it another shot as Canada has more immigration options than the UK. UK only became attractive with the recent 2 yrs psw. Or do you suggest I just go ahead with UK as the approval rate for study visa is much higher?

Hello Oyibo4real,

There is no issue here. Its better to do the change within Canada. Also there is no harm doing it outside Canada but the former gives you no course to answer a question IF asked by the CBSA agent on why the decision.

Best of Luck

Chai! I feel like I've gotten the visa already. Thank you boss for your response.

Ghenghen!!! Anointing speaking...

Tbh though, I'm beginning to see that the SOP appears to be the most important document of all. It that's not we'll put together enough for the VO to know and understand your circumstances and still be comfortable enough to approve the application, all other documents may not suffice. The SOP is the VO's personal interview with you in written text and his primary source of evaluating you and your circumstances as a whole. Just my thoughts.

Congrats again OtunbaTee. The kain happy wey I happy for you ehn, it just be like sey na my PPR land. All the best in Canada.

Thanks alot. I have uploaded the e-medical document and sent a mail to all the e-mails on the list.

Profile is has changed to review of medicals.

I appreciate ur support

JustMellow:

Hello Foje,

I believe this slip is the e-medicals. If you didn't answer YES to the query of doing an upfront medicals, you're required to send it as an attachment via the IRCC Webform/Case Specific Equiry (CSC).

The high blood pleasure won't be a problem. However, if IRCC is not pleased with the test outcome, a request for re-medicals might be sent.

Best of Luck

Hello Philadelphia,

As already mentioned before, there is no one format in getting this sectioned filled. However, this is how I would fill it.

Tuition: $25,000
R & M: $11,000
Other: $2,000

Available Funds: $38,000

The extra $28,000 will be to demonstrate your financial sufficiency without exhausting all your funds for the intended study purpose.

N.B: You're only demonstrating funds for one (1) year.

Best of Luck

Thanks very much
