birdman: This is fact. He was really good in that run. Defense, Offense, taking charges , he did it all. Is Patrick Beverley really a PG tho? Westbrook was right lol |

My Golden boy J. Tatum has tested positive for COVID-19. Along with Time-Lord, Williams, and Thompson we now have 4 Celtics out. The team is running thin. Hope to see the others step up like they did last night. Get well soon guys. #Greenrunsdeep #RIP24 |

What a crappy end to the season for seahawks. |

C. Godwin A. Brown M. Evans R. Gronkwoski L. Founette Coaches B. Arians T. Bowels Which other team in the NFC is this loaded? I dare say the entire NFL! Yet, somehow, @A40 believes this Bucs team is not loaded and not built to win now!!! All because he was to protect the tap dancing Brady. Make dem no win the SuperBowl first! |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:19am On Jan 10, 2021 |
birdman: Everyone saw it coming from the regular season. Wilson looked out of sorts throughout the season and their defense allowed way too many points. The play call today was bad, did not play to Wilson’s strength. |

For a backup QB that did not get a first team snap, Heinicke is showing an incredible amount of poise! |

Zion Williamson is averaging 20ppg If he continues at this pace |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:28am On Jan 10, 2021 |
Roland17:I think there is an element of over simplification on this matter. Whatever they lack in guard play they have in possessing not one but two of the top 10 wings in basketball. Plus they do have Lou Williams who something isn't right with or perhaps he has simply reverted to his normal level If the Clippers are good enough to go ahead 3-1 versus these so called teams with better PGs then it simply means they found a way in these games to stop doing what they were doing previously. Of all these teams you raised up I ask a simple question. What is their equivalent to PG and Kawhi? Because their weaknesses in a certain aspect is also a strength in others 1 Like |

Roland17:Remind me how many playoff games this squad won last season? Is it Fournette a mediocre running back that was chased out of Jacksonville of all places you're busy hyping? Or Gronk and AB who are great but have been out of the game almost two seasons before reuniting with GOAT Brady. It speaks to Brady's greatness that at 44 years old you expect him to win a ring in his very first season with a new coach and without any off season preparations. There are levels to this |

etidy:Let's not be too knee jerk about this loss though. I agree they have some holes but they beat this Warriors team just two days ago. This is Steph Curry we are talking about here and he can torch anybody |
Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 11:29am On Jan 10, 2021 |
A40: Don't get my point wrong. We are actually on the same page that you don't necessarily need to have a dominant Facilitator to win the NBA, however you in the absence of a Facilitator you need a system in place. The big 4 spurs, the Kobe lakers never had a dominant Facilitator but they all had a well coached system whether its a motion offence, a triangle or some hybrid of it. I brought up the warriors example just buttress the point. One of the underrated features of stever kerrs regime is that the team regularly leads the league in assist. There is so much off the ball action and the ball movement is constant. The clippers would benefit with such coaching instead of Kawhi and PG taking turns to iso in crunch time. |

This chap Lavine is special. Can legit be a second option on a championship team. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:08am On Jan 11, 2021 |
etidy:Fair point. The biggest issue for me is their lack of chemistry. They need more reps together in crunch time which they didn't have last season. The fact that they get to the position to blow these leads mean there is or was something they were doing right. Tyron Lue did say he was going to implement the triangle this season. I'm seeing it in spurts but not with any real consistency. Understand though that in crunch time it will still boil down to your superstars having to go iso. Pressure is just what burst pipes as we've seen the likes of Steph, Klay and GS go scoreless the last 3 minutes of Game 7s despite their fancy assists and ball movement |

Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:31am On Jan 11, 2021 |
@A40, I know you are not watching, but your “Bumble Bees” are stinking up the joint against a team that barely had one practice before this game, a team led by Mayfield. Please, Big Ben should do the NFL and his legacy a favor by retiring after such shameful performance. There is nothing left in the arm. He has not completed a pass over 7-10 yards. I don’t even think Eli Manning was this bad in his final 2 seasons with the Giants. Baba is just sharing free pass interceptions around like it’s his birthday! |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:38am On Jan 11, 2021 |
A40: Here we go again!! I am glad you can not deny the fact that this is most loaded/ healthy team in the NFL. The fact that they have AB and Gronk and are now in the playoffs is a testament of the quality of their depth chart. Haha, dropped by a tanking Jags only means the Jags had no intention of winning entering this season and could not afford to keep him for a tanking season, that was easy for anyone to see. He was so bad that the Bucs prioritized getting him as their RB? If he was a scrub how come he found his way to a win now team and is showing it in the post season? Abeg find another talk!! Guess who is winning the MVP this season? You know it!!! |
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 3:51am On Jan 11, 2021 |
This is quite embarrassing smh. I think I said it in one of my previous posts but I'll say it again, Big Ben is basically playing like a quadriplegic. Any throw greater than 5yards looks like rocket science to Him. Omar Epps better start looking for a new QB this off season because this dude just ain't it. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:08am On Jan 11, 2021 |
The Browns did not practice throughout the past week leading into this game so I expect to see some conditioning/ fatigue issues to come up in the 2nd half. This is the only ray of hope I can see for the |
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 4:18am On Jan 11, 2021 |
Roland17: LOOOOL.....I am sure A40's hopes weren't too high going into the season. He definitely needs to retire. Absolutely dreadful performance thus far. He is rich, famous, has two rings and a sure fire first ballot hall of famer so what else is He waiting for? For the sake of Mike Tomlin's career, He should come and be going abeg. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:45am On Jan 11, 2021 |
chic2pimp: Haha. Everyone loves Mike Tomlin and he is not going to go down easily. He has made several adjustments including moving JuJu to the slot and playing zone coverage since Baker is also not throwing deep. The Browns are tiring out like I predicted but Mike Tomlin is the bigger X factor. Can the Browns see this one out? |
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 4:53am On Jan 11, 2021 |
Roland17: Love what I am seeing currently long may it continue. Omar has made adjustments but you can also tell the players took some bollocking at halftime hence why they came out fired out after halftime. Can they see it out? They should be able too but I'm glad there is some form of respectability in that scoreline. |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 5:00am On Jan 11, 2021 |
Steelers putting up a good fight but this is not the browns team of old. They have enough talent to out some points up. I think steelers are in too big a hole |

GAME ON LADIES AND GENTLEMEN |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:07am On Jan 11, 2021 |
Roland17:This loss falls firstly on Big Ben. Once we get the amateurish snap from a veteran center like Pouncey out the way. No elite QB should be throwing the kind of picks Big Ben threw today With that being said and it hurts me to say it but Mike Tomlin in the beginning of the 4th cost us. In the playoffs especially he seems to have this knack for beating himself before the other team beats him. He never seems to know when to go for a 2. When to go for a 4th down and when to not go for a 4th down. He had a 4th and 1 down 12 on the 46 yard line and he elected to punt. The brash, tough talking Tomlin when it was time to show and prove chickened out and deservedly lost. This team needs a hard reset. Aside Minkah Fitzpatrick, Claypool and TJ Watt I couldn't be bothered about the rest of the team. The offensive coordinator has to be fired expeditiously btw |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:11am On Jan 11, 2021 |
chic2pimp:Big Ben threw 68 passes. That is absurd and I struggle to see how that Offensive coordinator would ever get another coaching job in the league if not for white privilege. Big Ben needs to retire but I guarantee even Mahomes will fail with that coordinator and his rubbish play calling. |
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 7:13am On Jan 11, 2021 |
A40: Heck even your defensive coordinator also needs to be looked at. Allowing almost half a century of points in a playoff game is a Big No no. Now if it was against an elite QB like Brady or Rodgers, I'd understand but not Baker freaking Mayfield. |
