According to most people's post on NL, renewing in the UK can be stressful and time consuming even though that's my experience when renewing.
At the moment, getting appointments is uncertain though. Trying to renew my LO's Naija passport but haven't gotten an appointment for biometrics yet; they said that they would contact us with an appointment date when we applied last December.

Hello everyone, I hope that you are fine even during these unprecedented times. I wish to inquire about renewing my Nigerian Passport in the UK which will expire by July later this year. Without mincing words, getting first-hand information online for this has been very daunting. I will be grateful if anyone could provide his/her Passport renewing experience. I know that there is an ongoing restriction all over the UK, but I want to make plans for next month and I hope that I can renew the passport 6 months before it expires without stress. Well-done every one for helpful information provided on this platform. I was denied CAS by my school for January intake after meeting all their condition of offer, including payment of 50 percent payment of school fees and providing TB certificate. Their reason was that I have high refusal record with the immigration. Please kindly advice on my next step of action and also how can I correct my TB certificate since the school address is already on it. For the school fees, they had already sent me a refund application form to fill which I had done already. Am really down thinking of next action. I really want to join January or February intake. I have all the requirements ready.

If you are still in Nigeria, renew your passport there no matter how much it costs you, and get a 10 year one too.

DO NOT, repeat NOT come to the UK with a passport close to expiry with the hope of fellowshipping in Northumberland Avenue.

Pls has anybody used Stanbic IBTC statement of account for proof of fund, I used it and have done biometric but lately their pattern of printing statement of account is making me scared as the bank name is not categorically written a above the statement only underneath each page. Although, categorically their logo, my name, my address, branch address, customer care contacts such as 0700 - CALL-STANBIC, Cutomercare@ stanbic.com, internet: www. stanbicibtc. com are all at the top of the statement While their full name is only written underneath each page. Am just scared as one of the requirements is that the POF must contain the bank name.

House can I pay my NHS and visa fee priority with naira master card , trying to setup my paga app but it won't accept my gtb card ,keeps giving me error message of all sort.
Do I need to buy dollar from Aboki and fund a dollar card to mk these payments.
Also is it advisable to calculate with "Oanda" for these payment.
I am really confused house pls help
Are there any issues using paga ie is it reliable without issues.
I HV written to paga customer care, no response yet.

Asking on behalf of my cousin
She is waiting for her CAS from Salford Uni. The delay is really affecting all her plans. Her school will be starting 1/2/2021, and she has the option to start online and be in the UK before April, but the issue now is that her TB Certificate is expiring this January(January 17th 2021) because she defers her course from September to February intake. Can she still use the TB certificate to apply for her visa if she gets the CAS this week, or after it expired

Is there any update regarding using expired CAS because i remember there was something like that for people that apply last September. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Please can one preempt the decision of a DMC Caseworker from its decision mail. I got my decision mail this morning and my heart has been racing without a stop since then. What are the clues of a grant and what are the clues of a refusal?

The TB certificate has to be valid at the point of her application. There were concessions of extra 6 months for those who applied after theirs got expired last year but I'm not sure if that's still in place.

Expired, invalid or already used CAS can't be used; the university will need to generate another CAS.

No, you can't. Just calm down; as long as you did everything you were supposed to do, your chances of getting your visa are pretty high.
