25th Dec. it wasn’t required then going to UK and transiting. But you can check their site they constantly update it.

Thank you! I appreciate your response. I called Emirates customer care and they confirm that Covid-19 test is not required. However, I got conflicting response at the Airport today where one staff said yes and the other said no.

I called Emirates again, they told me no that we can check back tomorrow or Tuesday. Traveling Friday. Has anyone travelled recently, like in January on Emirates.

Good evening to you all, I applied for a Tourist Visa on Dec 9th, I tracked it yesterday and it's available for pickup. I didn't or haven't received any email prior to any decision made on it. Do they still send emails in regards to one's application?

You have received the most important information you have been waiting for then go pick up your passport. All other things are unnecessary for now

I think Emirate needing it may not be the issue anymore since UK requires it. So I will advice you focus on what the UK needs right now. Blessings

From UK.gov site. Published 8 January 2021
All international arrivals to England, including UK nationals, required to present a negative COVID-19 test taken up to 72 hours prior to departure
passengers will be subject to an immediate fine of £500 if they fail to comply with the new regulations on pre-departure testing
all passengers arriving from countries not on the government’s travel corridor list will still be required to self-isolate for 10 days, regardless of test result
passengers will still be required to fill in a passenger locator form and be subject to national lockdown restrictions

We just got our refused letters and Really don't know what to do again. pls help for the next step.

Find the attachment of our refusal letters
This VO here stated that as a business owner, its unusal to have specific steady salary being paid into account. Many people believe paying yourself salary is almost a sure way out. So sorry I'm dragging us back.
You should look into what has been stated by the VO, make necessary adjustment and reapply

Hello house Please Help!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!

I have been a silent reader following this Tread but really want to make enquiries regarding Uk tourist visa base on account statement issue.

I live and work in UAE and am on salary payroll which i intend to use as means of Fund on my UK application but my question here is

am been paid via salary wallet card which isn't standard acct, i just withdraw and send back home to my naija acct leaving little cash there up to 50-60k equivalent to naira there for expenses, which i maintain 200k deposit every month via my naija acct which serves as my monthly salary. So here's my question.

1: can i just apply with such acct? Which no outflow only inflow of cash, Reason is i have salary card here which cash for monthly expenses is. and i have monthly payslip of 300k equivalent to naira

2: will such acct statements above be accepted with my payslip backing it up.

Will greatly appreciate if someone enlighten me on this
Thanks
I will advice you show both accounts. Your proof of salary and the Naija account where you save the money. Hopefully you should be fine with the two. However, make sure your proposed travel expenses doesn't exceed 2months if your disposable income.

Please can we use the test done by Oyo State government to travel to the UK? Or must we go to the laboratory specified by the federal government.

Does anyone know the turnaround time (hours/days) for the mandatory government recommended test centre as shown in the examples above?

Things are getting more complicating with UK demanding a 72 hours test pre-boarding. Nja was 120 hours now 96 hours; and that 96 is tight talkless of 72 hours...
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by chrisj2(m): 4:53pm On Jan 11, 2021
I think the Oyo State government approved test centres should be fine - why not? It id probably in Ibadan anyways - fine chance it might be the same ones as those recommended by the federal government. How many good labs are there

As long as UK does not recommend specifics - not that I know of, as of yet!

It possible the two applications were given to seperate case worker and each individual has it's own processing / turnaround time

I seen here were dependent visa came out before main applicants as well. There nothing you can do but be patient and wait

They rarely ask for pay slip or stuff like that.... what important is you have the mandatory minimum amount in what ever bank account you present and has to be there at least 28 days

Please house. I paid for return courier service while booking an appointment for my parents, but couldn't see any option for delivery address on TLS website. Will they need to give them the delivery address when they attend the biometrics or what? Thanks

Submit both accounts but you will need to write a note to show how you are funding your savings account in Nigeria. Let them know that you transfer part of your monthly salary to fund your savings account in Nigeria.
