I never trusted this app thing from the outset because I know our criminally minded Nigerian brethren will find a way to cash in
Quite a no of people will have their details harvested by these fraudsters.
Some will even steal the details from the network providers.
Such a shame.

Why are many Nigerians so despicably dubious? I bet the criminals behind this are having a field day harvesting people's data. Do we blame our incompetent government or our DNA encrypted proclivities for vice?

I on my own part have decided to manually link my SIM cards using short codes. I can't shout abeg

It's sad really. So damn sad. It has got to a point I look at everyone with distrust. When I am out of the country I avoid Nigerians. These criminals keep coming up with sinister moves to defraud people on a daily basis. It's sickening. Sad.

I just placed a call to confirm I have the official app. Thank God it's the real one I have. Ishi this country matter dey tire person sha cheesy

Pantanmi should get all the blame.

Nigeria is not yet ripe for all this digitalization.

But he want us to WALK THE TALK !

Okay, bad guys has started exploiting the weak point and taking advantage of unsuspecting members of the public.

Udu I have given up on Nigerians. We are not ready to change. Not in this millenium angry How are we even sure the genuine app is even safe because, as my friend said, our government is so full of useless people that they may sneak spyware into it.

Guys we all need to be very careful with these apps. I placed a call to my contact in NIMC Abuja and he has advised you all go their official Twitter handle or website where you will get the link to the correct app. I have pasted what I got when I went to their Twitter page below. Please only download the app from their official website or Twitter handle.

Or just use the phone codes and forget about the app. Although I did mine through the app. It's your choice. Be very careful guys. Fraudsters everywhere angry

BVN Kwa?
Are you sure you have the correct app, because the correct app only takes NIN?
I don't think there is any app that gives you NIN, to obtain NIN you have to visit NIMC office or any other accredited agents!

Please tell me you are joking undecided

If you really got an app asking for your BVN please rush down to your bank tomorrow as fast as possible. Then call your bank's 24 hours customer care lines right now. Unless you are just joking.
