Due to the circumstances around her divorce, she desperately needs a fresh start and feels Nigeria is the best place for such. I've tried to advice her against it but to no avail.. so I've resulted to supporting her decision..
Created this thread so I can show her some good suggestions on how she can sustain herself back home..

By the way, which country is she in?

Well, what is her professional experience or skill-sets? Does she have family members (ideally connected) that she can stay with while she looks for a good position-or does she have cash to live on while she waits? I'm asking these questions because, unless extremely lucky, she would have to wait a while (sometimes years) for a very good and suitable position to come up. Or can she just manage any job wile she waits for a really good job? When I say good position I mean something that pays a monthly net salary above 900K per month. Extreme patience is the key to the Nigerian career game as the economy does not churn out many good jobs.

What job was she doing over there What are the prospects in Nigeria?. Like someone above said she can try business but if she is not Street smart na one chance be that.

Don't mind the clown he is talking as if we have not made several trips to United States.

Leave that clown. That's how most of them that live abroad paint Nigeria as heaven on earth whereas they will never come back to Nigeria.

They are fond of discouraging people relocating whereas they will never set their foot in Nigeria. They usually write epistle on how Nigeria is a good country but if you check very well, they are still in the abroad they are deceiving people not to come to. Some of these types of persons already have their passports. But they are the first to discourage others from doing the same. Very selfish human beings.

Most do that because they feel it is not good to have lots of Nigeria in a place. That's how myopic their mindsets are. They never talk about the Indians and Chinese who are more populous in terms of relocation.

At least, there are other sane folks abroad who are debunking some of their bad experiences they always craft to discourage people.

Well you never stated which country she's coming from, if she's coming from Europe or American let her stay back.
Well presently, I don't know which country Nigeria is better than.At this moment Nigeria is messed up.

Trade raw materials, import goods (B2B), or start a bunch of businesses that focus on something too small (not "enough" money for them) for most people to care about (it adds up).
