The truth is this: I am afraid of Lagos. The raven stories I've heard about that place. Most of my friends have said I cannot survive Lagos. I am easily intimidated, and I love staying on my own.

Long story short. My uncle invited me to his place in Lagos. Am wondering if I will choke or kidnapped (most of the dark stories I've heard are folks entering into kidnappers vehicles etc).

I'm a living testimony to it that an introvert can live and survive in Lagos all you have to do is to learn how to mind your business.

Avoid night movement if possible and you ll be ok

As per ur question, u can survive, just dat it wouldn't be easy due 2 d violent, stressful, crowded nd crazy nature of Lagos..lol! just mind ur business nd don't succumb 2 distraction, at d same time, be vigilant. Also, u need learn 2 act like an extrovert by faking ur personality cos d atmosphere dia favor extroversion more. It's smtin u can do if u r willing, provided u needed 2 survive dia.

I am an introvert too, was born nd grew up in lag, nd wat I said were d approach dat got me going while dia. Afta my service year dat I got 2 taste anoda state which appear saner 2 me, I had 2 ditch Lagos cos even if no job opportunities here, at least, d atmosphere is peaceful nd saner 4 my personality, so I created hustle 4 myself instead.

Mr OP, there are PROBABLY thousands of introverts in Lagos. Your coming here wont make much difference. You can survive only if you do what you love.... free your mind from the fact that youre an introvert and be open minded with people. Also learn to avoid wetin no consign you as there are distractions everywhere.

Never allow anyone intimidate you cause there are so many people that will try to make you inferior and weak.. When dealing with a conductor, don't do gentle man o....

An introvert can survive anywhere. All you need to do like many have said, just learn to mind your business.

I am an introvert too. I have been surviving in Lagos for the past 7 yrs or so. Apart from one of my neighbors that I am really close to and exchange visits with, the others na just greeting connect us. Once I come back from work, I on my gen, watch television, find something eat and sleep, weekend I visit and hangout with the few colleagues and friends when I get. Shikena.

I'm an introvert born and lived all my life in Lagos. just mind your business and keep doing your thing . sefini. wish you the all goodwills in the rugged state ..and as someone mentioned earlier too, ya have to learn to be crazy to survive perfectly here,, make dem no use your head.

Am a full grown man with nothing to boast about. Something like a jerk, or a nerd. Although am not smart. I've tried poultry, piggery, snail farming, and all of them failed. Can't even pay my debts. Lagos is the only way I may redeem myself. If not, I won't contemplate moving there.
