The Governor of Borno State, Prof Babagana Zulum, said on Friday that for the sake of fairness, power should return to the south in 2023. He faulted the suspicion that any part of the country could not be trusted with power, perhaps for the fear of secession.https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/why-power-should-shift-to-south-in-2023-zulum/%3famp=1

Whether power is shifting to any part of the north, south, east or west, the major thing we should be rooting for is competence...... Let's stop voting in these old hags who have lost touch with modern ways of doing things... Anybody that would become President shouldn't be more than 50 years of age, and should be in tandem with modern civilization and technological advancement. Not some senile old men with nothing upstairs, who can't operate an android phone. Enough is enough. Let a young blood rule this country for once. These old men have wrecked the nation. I pity all those people supporting tinubu for 2023.......my question to them is "suffer no dey tire una"? Abeg I go sama u better bedspreads if u take a look at signature |

The section reads, “A person shall be qualified for election to the office of the President if (a) he is a citizen of Nigeria by birth; (b) he has attained the age of forty years; (c) he is a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political party; and (d) he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.”Everyone qualified are ALL eligible to contest for Presidency in The Federal Republic of Nigeria. And the masses and the common man on the street will have the final say. Power is not an appeasement or a gift. #HardTruths It is interesting and vital to note here that the PDP which many of us still proudly support and adore was in power for 16 solid years and in those years there were 4 Presidential Inaugurations and on none of those was an Igbo man found worthy by the PDP of even Vice Presidency and we are still bold to say it is the APC that has not even finished one and a half tenure that doesn't want to give power to Igbos. Odi nma. |

Security Concerns Mount Over Mass Movement Of Fulanis Southwards Excerpt: "In Oyo State, a meeting of the Yoruba World Assembly held at the Parliament Building on Thursday was informed of Fulani herdsmen trooping into the state from neighbouring countries through Saki East, Saki West and Atisbo local government areas." |

We just need a better Nigeria. Even if a good leader comes from the north or west or east or anywhere. We just need someone to get this country working |

If there's anything like rotation between North and South, there should also be a rotation within North and within south. SW have already had there turn but still clinging on rotational presidency. If there will be any rotation, there's nothing like South, rather SE or SS. Anything short we burn the bridge and power returns back to North. I'm sure we all witnessed June 12 and I'm sure North will be more than willing to negotiate with SE/SS to retain power so let's all respect ourselves |

There is no doubt that power will come to south in 2023. We will see how PDP and Atiku will fix this. I have said it and will continue to say it, Ohanaeze needs to foster a unity front for all the aspirations from SE in each party and from there move to negotiate power with other regions. It must not be SW because both regions are likely not to agree but with actors from other regions. By so doing, the power of give and take can be achieved. OBJ became president without the SW and Igbo can be president without SE or SW. Its about negotiation. Umahi is SE best bet, OUK and other keys members should be brought to a round table to see to this and only Ohanaeze can do this. |
